Covered Bridge Festival At Mansfield In Parke County Indiana 2015

- The Parke County Indiana Covered Bridge Festival is held in several different cities within the county. We went to the cities of Bridgeton and Mansfield to see just what the Covered Bridge Festival was all about! Well, it was all about food and shopping, as there was plenty of both. There was all kinds of food imaginable, a lot of it the type of food you would find at a fair. That means food that isn't necessarily good for you, but it tastes great! There was also row after row of shopping. There were a lot of vendors that we would classify as flea market type sellers, as well as name brands such as Usborne Books and Tupperware. There was also a very cool covered bridge and a mill that are worth the trip alone. We had a great time, and were amazed at how many vendors were actually there! Go if you get the chance!

Very nice videos of the CBF. I watched the 2 from 2015 and Rockville 2017. A great look at what it is like there. My best friend and I have went for 24 straight years now and look forward to it every year. We started out going for 2 days, and are up to most of 5 days each year now. We have hit most all of the festival thru the years and have our favorite spots. Any plans to go again?
Yes, we will be going back...it’s an experience just being there and seeing what all the vendors have to offer! We normally don’t have a lot of things in mind that we need when we go, we just kind of window shop and end up with something good to take home. Thanks for watching the videos...we appreciate it!
which covered bridge out of bridgeton and mansfield do you prefer?
We preferred Bridgeton. The bridge is very scenic with the mill right by it and the water coming over the spillway beneath it.
