I am the first owner of the bto package of this very bike. bought it in blue and slapped all of the kits. with the suspension upgrades it does feel like an excellent touring bike. extensively used the peltier seats and once you start using it you cannot leave it. There are a lot of niggles are needs proper solution. so far i dont mind its unrefined nature. clocked 3200kms, and it will keep going up. All i am going to say is dont go nuts on throttle. take it slow and gradual. that is better for the engine. And the way the engine is setup it is going to be unrefined. To counter the vibration which on my model has been done by installing heavier handle bar end weights, which were offered to me by one of the 310mechanic and that reduced a lot of the factory handle bar vibrations. each one of the weights are heavier than 2 of the factory weights combined. I do wish this bike to be more refined. but for what it is its really fun engine. it has grunts in its lower rpm, a sweet humm in midrange, screams at high rpm and when off throttle it makes flute like induction noise, cant get enough of it.
Does the seat hurt as i have heard that cooling / heating plate placed in the seat starts to hurt the butt after a while ? also did the vibs drop a bit after first service ?
@@Abhis2cents seat does not hurt. because the elements are in the front while the ass cheeks stay toward the rear. because of person body geometry. also vibration has nothing to do with service. that is a placebo effect. best thing i can say is that vibration is not bothersome once you live with it. yes it is rough because of the engine geometry. there is nothing anyone can do. not tvs not bmw. tightening bolts or installing bushings wont help in long term. but if possible get heavier weights on handle bar that helps a lot. it is how it is. people riding it one day for 5km will going to complain. i will be closing 5000 and done trips for 200 odd kms in one sitting without going to restrooms just to see comfort level. i am loving this so far and i am intend to keep this as my legacy bike.

So true about poor after sales from TVS. They simply dont want to bother with servicing a 310cc especially if it's related to the engine. I had to go through such a fate. I struggled for 6 months and even sent a legal notice due to their negligence and poor service. Lesson learned "think twice before choosing a TVS."😅
This bike is not that bad, as an existing TVS bike user i have dealt with many issues, also with common cold start tvs bikes issue but this bike defines it's purpose as street Naked redline comes so fast, vibrations are there I agree but not as much as you over revvv in each gear, top speed hovers at around 157-160kmph which is quite decent, The only problem is that there are too many sensors which i don't think is required in a 310cc motorcycle
Split crankcase engine married from widowed GS 310 at that time they didn't pay much attention regarding refinement because gs310 was all about adv. Now they realised that vibrator was an issue. Vibrations go off above 4,500 rpm in sport in RR 310
As many features, that many things that can go wrong. And TVS is not someone who are equipped enough to fix those problems hassle free like most TVS customers report. Just be sure to keep that in mind before buying. The bike as presented is fantastic (except for the vibrations) but like I said there are caveats and the major one is TVS's service.
Ikr, I had to take my Raider to the service centre 3 times to get the gear position sensor fixed. Only god knows how the technicians will get this bike fixed if some issue occur due to the variety of sensors used in this bike.

Bidirectional quickshifter on a 30hp bike. Wheelie control on a bike that doesn't even have enough torque to wheelie on it's own. Basically Indian motorcycles will put anything but more cylinders.
TVS = Gimik features(thats why they did lot of stickering), worst after sales service! this bike does not deserve TVS brand feature Loaded bike but when u take it to TVS service the mechanic wont have any knowledge about this type of bikes i m former apachean! sold after 1.5yr and switched to KTM
This issue of refinement is with every engine tvs has ever made. Revs smoothly till 4-5009, then doesn't feel comfortable to rev. I prefer to ride it only upto that level.

He's the example of how not to use tools without learning how to use them. Some products are meant to do only some things. Not everyone can enjoy riding a Duke 390 or a Turbocharged car. But what his approach does is that it overshadows the other good aspects or reasonable aspects of the vehicle. But hey, it's a free country.
I really wish you would get your information right about stuff then comment. Its just that YOU don't know how to switch on cruise control, its a button which you press down, and on clicking up the speed increases and clicking down it decreases. Being such a useful source of information you can do better.
I love this bike for the features, but I did not purchase it because of bad vibrations. Refinement is worse in this bike, which could be a deal broker. Those vibrations are so annoying 🙄

The problem with TVS is they give crazy features at less price in comparison to others in the segment but lacks in after sales, refinement, quality, and performance I bought an RTR 200 back in 2018 (BS4, 4V), loaded with features at that time for 1.35 lakhs on road in comparison to other bikes in that segment but it has given me more troublesome memories than fun ones. Plus the vibrations man. It will just make your whole body numb. FYI I have ridden 46.5kk kms in 3 years (leaving 2 years of covid)
Mere features makes me consider this bike. No bike offers ventilated seat in the front. Plus endless customisations like TPMS, brass chains (which I may use as defence too) 😂
vibes on this bike while cruising at 100 in 6th gear is deal breaker. i come from r15 it glides at 100 and will want you to go faster. seriously they need to work on refinement. even himalyan 450 was bad at this speed but seating was atleast comfy for long hauls

@@gouthammuruganandam2670 noticeable at first but then body gets used to it. at that speed the air rushing fast that it pushes you backwards.
