Productive investments:
Productive investments (according to Warren Buffet) are investments that product cash flow. This could be a business, rental property, or stock investment that pays dividends to you on a quarterly, monthly, or annual basis.
Non-productive investments:
Non productive investments are things like gold, silver bullion coins, crypto currencies and some times even your own home!
Warren Buffet's take:
Warren ALWAYS has stated very firmly that while there is some intrinsic value in non-productive investments. He would way rather own productive investments that pay him month over month in perpetuity.
