I didn't end up commenting on the stuttering video, so I'm just going to say it real quick here! I loved that you shared your story, and how you talked about it! I don't "officially" stutter myself, but I have a neurological chronic illness, and end up stuttering a lot when it flares up. Obviously I'm not saying it is serious by any means, but it's enough to make me really self conscious at times. I really appreciated you opening up, and making it more normal. You are amazing Stephanie! This just made you seem a litttle (littttle) more human, and not just a flawless, super human 😂
I have never noticed your stutter, but it's weird that people scrutinize how "much" of one you have and think that you were blowing it out of proportion. It's good that you're speaking up because it helps people not feel so alone. 👍
The kids are getting so big love listening to lex talk and my son had a speech impediment and FFA helped so much because he had to do public speaking and I never thought you had a problem love your blogs and the family
Love this channel! I heard about you from a comment on the Instagram for foolyliving ;-( and love how you are able to organize with your large family! Kids look so happy! Good for you!
Ok..its official..I WANT NELLIE!!! I've GOT TO HAVE HER!! She is Sooo precious and those little thigh rolls are just too cute!!! Hope school is going well for Danielle and Lonnie Jr and the rest of the precious babes are doing great as well. Love love LOVE watching your videos!!❤❤❤
you should never be put in a position to prove you stutter. you are amazing to bring it up. i used to get slapped several times a day when my eyes crossed. i didnt know they crossed because my dominant eye took over, slap! i guess that helped me in the long run, but hurt my feelings and made me feel defective. i lived, tho.
Stephanie, you're such a hard worker, an amazing mom and of course an awesome wife. Your TH-cam content is always interesting and entertaining so try to ignore the weirdo's that don't appreciate it. Some people just like to complain.
You guys should get a Blackstone griddle! It makes having breakfast (or anything else) so much easier! Cause you can make everything in one spot and not to mention it’s all delicious! Another plus that I enjoy is that my house doesn’t have that “food” smell for days! Lol! Love you guys!❤️
My son has a stutter like you discussed. I had no clue and he had years of speech therapy for other reasons. But recently his OT said the ST in her office noticed his stutter and recommended an eval. Since she pointed it out, it all made since. I was always taught that a stutter was the p..p..pizza kind. I didnt realize there was other kinds of stuttering.
Dairy free musts! Diaya cheeze sauce, comes in a 3 pack and is really good with elbow macaroni noodles. They also have frozen pizza, cheezecake and shredded cheeze. Ben and Jerry’s has great dairy free ice cream. Oreos are dairy free too.
I wish I could get my little one to eat Diaya. Not sure what it is but she has liked none of their stuff. She doesn't like Annie's either :-(. However she has loved everything from So Delicious and Enjoy Life.
How did you get your autistic children to eat? My grandson is autistic as well as my great grandson and they only eat about 4-5 things and they aren’t healthy things! My great grandson is 2 and he only nurses and eats potato chips or French fries and that’s it! It’s so frustrating!
My mom stutters really badly when she’s severely stressed, and I read lips because of my bad hearing I’ve been doing it so long I feel weird giving eye contact lol
I've notice you do stutter a little bit, but Im assuming you've worked on it pretty well because it's not incredibly noticeable but I get that it's probably a lot more work to maintain that than we may think. I can understand you well though! You're doing a great job!
Do you have to take the kids out of school to go on a holiday or is there more school holidays over there? We are on school holidays for 2 weeks as of next week. Yippee no alarms next week. Can't wait.
Most schools in the U.S have several school holidays throughout the course of the 9 month school year but most families wait and go on holiday during the Summer months when school is off..June. July and some or all of August. There are those go on holiday during the Summer and then again during the Christmas holidays also.
I love nelly’s little chunky thighs❤️ Plus I just love watching your family, you guys are just real and raw! I’ve got aspergers and I’ve learned that with friends I can give eye contact but strangers its really hard.
Hey Steph! I use the baby shark song as a potty training "incentive" (Ok it's really a bribe Lol!). Maybe Roblox will motivate Lex to use the potty. I love your channel.
I'm pretty certain you've done your research and have talked to her Dr. However, I just would like to point out something. My daughter was first started on a dairy free diet. It didn't work and the GI she started out with gave us no other choices. I switched her to an actual EoE clinic and so happy that I did. After doing my research and talking with the new GI I really wish I would have started her out on the top 6 free diet (dairy, egg, wheat, soy, nuts and fish). My reasoning behind it is because if doing top 6 free and you scope clean or better you know the triggers are somewhere in those top 6. However, if you scope worse or no better you know it's also something outside of that top 6 as well. I'm thinking doing it that way will help us pinpoint her triggers and also maybe less scopes as well. I am by no means saying y'all or doing it wrong. Just stated my thought about it. My daughter is starting top 6 free diet October 15th. I hope y'all are able to pinpoint her triggers quickly. It's such a miserable disease 😢
@@OurLANDingCrew8 Yes! I'm crossing my fingers for you guys! Happy to hear you have a great doctor! This disease is so hard and I hate it that we have to go through this with our babies and they have to go through it at all. So heartbreaking. My daughter wasn't chocking on food though. Her main symptoms was something feeling like it was stuck in her throat along with severe stomach and chest pain.
Danielle gets sick a lot :( I hate it but if this doesn’t work then we will try the gluten free. She doesn’t eat soy, egg or fish so that helps us narrow it down a little bit!!!
I can’t wait till Liam starts aba I have my son in aba and it’s not abusive at all like some people think everything my son does is play based he’s not forced to do anything he doesn’t want and he’s doing GREAT
I have problems with my belly and I have problems with my through so Daniel is not a lone I switch to gluten and it helped me a lot so hope Daniel is ok
Lactaid is still dairy. It's lactose free cow's milk. Lactose is the sugar component of milk that some people have an intolerance to. But breaking down the lactose (like in lactaid products) will not help if there is an actual milk allergy. Milk allergies are due to the protein (casein) in milk, not the sugar (lactose). I don't want anyone to be confused into doing something dangerous with food allergies. I truly don't mean for this to sound rude, just trying to inform!
Stephanie has Lexus tongue been checked to see if it needed clipped? Just throwing that out there because that's how my grandson talked and at the age of three they discovered he needed his tongue clipped. He sure is a handsome little guy. Love all your children's faces.
I was told by a dentist that trying to do it to a toddler or older is horrible and usually they won’t unless the child is not talking at all as overtime he will slowly stretch out his tongue and be able to talk more and clearer
We gotta eat at home cause we have no choice lol we don’t have a vehicle, it’s hard when u crave a cheeseburger from seeing commercials 😂😭 I live in a very small town so the only place that delivers is pizza places. I guess it’s a good thing tho
Elena Gibbons I know somethings going on w TH-cam kids channels. Don’t know exactly what it is but know it’s affecting a lot of channels. I assume it has to do with something monetary.
We stopped doing the kids channel like 2 months ago. In theory it was a good idea but it's not something we are super passionate about like we are this channel. When TH-cam came out with the changes it just kind of made it final for us. But with stopping that channel, it made it where we could just put the time to going daily on this one.
theres a channel i found called a peek inside and she makes her own microwave meals so she knows what shes eatting and if they are eating something their autistic son doesnt like theres still a healthy option for him that saves her from making 2 meals everyday. im going to try it with my autistic fiance but maybe it might help you eat better and get inspired
I've been dairy free for 2.5 months now. Read read read everything all the time. Dairy is in almost everything, things you wouldnt think had dairy. And also whey and casian are other words for dairy.
The doctor specifically told us not to read everything because until we find out if that's a trigger for her, there's no reason to drive ourselves crazy so he just said no ice cream, cheese, milk, yogurt, chocolate, cream cheese, peanuts and call it a day. But we love cheese in our family so it's really hard!
@@OurLANDingCrew8 if she still has dairy is some things how does that help pinpoint if that's a trigger? I just can't understand. Seems like every Dr has different views and different ways they go about this disease. It's so confusing. We were even told to stay away from stuff that said "may contain" but I've never seen one say just stay away from the main dairy products and not all dairy. Hmm.
@@daniellebenningfield6094 if dairy is hiding in something (and is down low on the list of ingredients), it usually isn't a problem for people with dairy/cow's milk protein intolerance. It's when it is dairy based (ice cream, butter, cheese, etc) that's the issue.
@@Legal.Knievel I understand that but it doesn't work that way with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) though (at least not from my understanding). It's a very complicated ordeal but technically most EoE people show zero signs of the intolerance or allergy but yet when that gets into their system it causes eosinophils to attack their esophagus. We've had total allergy testing and literally everything was negative. That's what makes this disease so hard because the only way to find out what is causing the reaction is to eliminate different foods. I was just curious though. We are only about a year into this as well so anything learned is beneficial!
