Just got my Juki 2010q up and working. All is running beautifully and smoothly, EXCEPT, that the presser foot which has already been screwed on ( tight as #&$&^!) in the factory. So I am wondering if I just put a few drops of the oil that came with it to wrench it off, so I can change to the free motion or walking foot.

Few drops of oil and maybe a paper towel to get a better grip or small wrench

So on walking foot is it a 1/4 seam allowance or what you call the scant 1/4? Plus your stitch in the ditch foot.. does it see through the sandwich for quilting? You remove the walking foot before putting on the stitch in the ditch foot? What foot’s actually attach to the walking foot?
