- Google Photos is a very useful service for backing up and organizing all your photos, But once you upload all your photos, you might find that some of your photos have the wrong date on them which means your photos won't be very organized.

How to do multiple pics?
Hi, when i click on the three dots, the only options that appear are to delete the photo/video or move to archive. The video is useful but for some reason this isn't working for me. Im on the google photos app for my phone, is there any way to help? Thank you in advance.
Unfortunately this isn't possible in the app, it can only be done on the Google photos website. You can use the website in a browser app on your phone if you want, but it's probably easier to use a computer if you have one.
Then once you're done it on the website, the changes should sync with the app.

I think you can depending on the brand of your phone, but I'm not sure if the new date and time will stay with the photos because I'm not entirely sure how changing the date in Google photos will affect the local files.
You could try it with one or two test photos to see how it works.

If you go to the Google photos website in a browser app on your phone, you will be able to change the dates using the steps in this video.
But it is easier to do it on a computer, and all the changes will sync to your phone so I'd recommend doing it on a computer if you have one.

Sorry, there is unfortunatly no way to do it on a phone. But if you do it on a computer, the changes will sync to your phone.
I didn't want my photo dates changed but Google photos just did it on its own. How do I change it back to the correct dates?
Unfortunately I think the only way will be to try and remember the dates that the photos were taken, and then change them back to those dates using the steps in this video.
If all the photos are still spaced out at the correct time, eg: a photo you took on Monday says it was taken on Tuesday, and a photo you took on Wednesday says it was taken on Thursday, it could be reasonably easy because you just have to figure out when one of the photos was taken, and then use the "shift dates and times" feature.
But if they are all jumbled up and completely wrong, you will unfortunately have to figure out when each one was taken and fix them one by one.
Which I know from experience is not an easy task.
Hi, how can I download my photos with the original date? Recently, each time I download a group of photos all the photos have suddenly the download date and the original date is lost. I din't have this issue before and I really don't know how it happened.
It does this for me as well now, so I think that's just how it works now. I think the only way to download them with the date might be to download them with Google Takeout.
It's a bit of a longer process, and you have to download an entire album or entire year at a time, but surely they will all still have the correct date if you do it that way.

@@techtimewithtimmy Thank you so much. I went already to the page of Google Takeout but didn't know what to do next. All fields in the list are already activated. I checked already Google Photos Formats and it says only in which formats Google Photos is exporting my datas.
