  • The History of Malaga, for 3rd grade Social Science.
You will learn about one monument for each of the five periods of history that we have studied:
    1. Preshistory: the Dolmens of Antequera
    2. Ancient History: the Roman Theater
    3. The Middle Ages: the Alcazaba
    4. The Modern Age: the Cathedral of Malaga
    5. The Contemporary Age: the monument to General Torrijos in la Plaza de la Merced
I hope this helps you to learn more and appreciate your city. Malaga is beautiful, Malaga is magical... and Malaga is yours! Explore it!

I’m doing a challenge where I learn about almost every larger city in the world and Malaga the first one I’m learning about.

You said that the Phoenicians were in Malaga about 2800 BC ,then you said thats nearly 3000 years ago ?

Of course, you are absolutely right. It's not 2800 BC, it was 2,800 years AGO, (around 800 years BC), so nearly 3,000 years ago is, approximately, correct. The rest is my mistake! (Good job for catching it, I'm amazed that anyone watches this.)
