That’s called sight reading, I’m able to sight read songs also, as long as I know it well from hearing it on the radio. I don’t really like reading music from a paper, I prefer to make up my own music or make my own way of playing a song I know by heart. The best part of all with sight reading is that you can play your emotions out onto the piano and it creates this wondrous piece that can either be mournfully sad, plucky and joyful, or dark and angry. I’ve done it before...what came out on the piano was the most diverse array of different emotions rolled up into one song. My parents actually asked me if I learned a new song they never heard before lol

Believe me you can. Those songs are very easy to learn and can be obtained in some weeks of you practice every day, just on yourself using tutorials like synthesia. Im learning myself for some years now and can play some pretty hard pieces :)
Shaquille O'Neal Diane’s teacher gives lessons to adults too. They progress probably more slowly but they are able to play this kind of pieces... « they didn’t know that it was impossible... so they did it » 😉
Prehistoric FossilFinder actually she has sucky technique and those are songs you could play if you know a couple of simple scales. They are around level three songs, which is low for her age. I am only a couple years older than her and already at level seven so she pretty much sucks.
She makes it look so easy like it's no big deal yet it's pretty hard for someone to recreate what' she is doing I play piano aswell but like she way better then me!
A most heartfelt thank you to her parents, indeed all the parents who encourage their children with music. This makes them better readers, gives confidence, just makes them better at everything. Amburger let the girl be, she’s only 10... she’s pretty good for me, i’m in 9 the grade and only on level 4, she is wayyy better than half of the people that play piano in my school. she will get better, don’t forget you’re in grade 8 and she’s only in grade 4 or 5.

Believe me you can. Those songs are very easy to learn and can be obtained in some weeks of you practice every day, just on yourself using tutorials like synthesia. Im learning myself for some years now and can play some pretty hard pieces :)

Prehistoric FossilFinder actually she has sucky technique and those are songs you could play if you know a couple of simple scales. They are around level three songs, which is low for her age. I am only a couple years older than her and already at level seven so she pretty much sucks.
She makes it look so easy like it's no big deal yet it's pretty hard for someone to recreate what' she is doing I play piano aswell but like she way better then me!
A most heartfelt thank you to her parents, indeed all the parents who encourage their children with music. This makes them better readers, gives confidence, just makes them better at everything. And teaching them to share and have compassion. And Lord knows we need more smart kids like this as they will be the ones leading in the future. Bravo young lady!

Just as long as she can play the piano... but yes, she might make some mistakes and her hands are in an odd position, but that doesn’t mean you can say she sucks. She just needs to learn more. I doubt your actually lvl 9 in piano. Especially when you’re judging people on how their playing.
