Skating rails close to that spot on a double side ledge on a warm-up session! That would be a great spot at the school to warm-up some flatgrounds and grinding the rail of a different line!
Just got my first pair of Lil jawns (waiting for next board setup), used bones previously. I got the Jason Adams colab ones, that dude was a childhood hero of mine. I'm extra excited for them after this vid. Btw, your skating has gotten way more solid since coming back from that injury imo. Really nice work man.
Been skating rails for a couple years now. I tried to skate without em a few months ago and like "nope". The only thing I'd add to this is one nice benefit to the lil jawns is they have 4 holes instead of 5. And I believe they are a lil shorter than most rails. Been wanting to try em for a while myself. Might have to take advantage of that code! Nice video Kev!
@@mylast949 not at all, I do a good amount of lipslides and everything slides like butter. There’s a short adjustment period but I got used to them really quickly. I’d recommend trying a pair and if you don’t like them you can always take them off. Also, boardslide hurricane combos are insanely fun to learn and they’re almost impossible without rails, easier on a bit wider board too.
i made some diy rails from old uhmwpe cutting board, super happy with how they turned out. was going to turn it into a video but when i erased the original i lost the edited one 😑. if i were going to buy some, i'd buy these.
Rails should never rip out. You probably didn’t drill pilot holes first. Take a piece of tape wrap it around the drill bit. Just make sure the tape is placed so you only drill half way. The wood screws will drop right in. Wood glue if you’re really having problems I guess.

That's awesome! Thank you. Yeah, I'm definitely feeling 100× better on my board. Let me know how you like those when you set them up!
Ima big rail guy. I will have to check them out. Thanks bro.
The moths are the jam, reminiscent of the old school 80s Rib Bones

True, I forgot to mention that. Thanks. Yeah, they are definitely a +1 in the fun department. Haha.
I am a big fan of rails. I don't use them like i should but i like having them.
Rails = more fun
Great video man. I’m going to use your code. My favorite thing about rails is the consistent slide you get. I feel it’s a big advantage.
Thanks! Yeah, it just makes boardslides like 100x more fun, haha.
that front nosegrind front 180 was great
I’ve skated rails for a few years now and I love em
So fun
Did it prevent your board from cracks doing heavy lipslide type tricks? Interest on buying one

i have mine closer to the edge, might try them further in next time
Do you prefer the standard moths or the skinny lil moths?
The standard. Skinny moths have smaller hardware and holes, so the screws I use didn't fit.
@@KevinNiceTry just ordered a pair! 🤘
@z4xarhis hope you used code "NiceTry" at checkout for that 10% off! Haha. You're going to love them. Best rails in the game.
@@KevinNiceTry I used the promocode 💪

shoutout to the jawwwwnnnsss best rails in the game!!!!!
💯
Name should be changed to Kevin FirstTry.
Hahaha. I need to do more live streams to disprove this statement. Editing is a blessing, but when a magical moment happens, it's a curse. Haha.
If I wasn’t skating rails, I would be hindering myself
Haha
how long you are skating
During a session? Or like how long I've been skating for?
@@KevinNiceTry I mean how many years ago you started skating
22 years
Rails are just too foreign for me. They look sick though
Yeah, it took me a minute, but long boardslides are just so fun, haha.
@@KevinNiceTry I’m going to have to try them at some point in my life! Haha
Why? the same fucking reason so many other people use rails...NOTHING TO SEE HERE....no reason to make a video
