Your night photography is excellent especially the time lapse of the jet landing at sunset at ORD. Thanks for your hard work and especially for all the comments you put in to describe what we are seeing!
I really enjoyed this. I’m a flight attendant based in ORD and I haven’t flown since late March . made me feel like I was going to work again and seeing my fav sushi spot in T2 😪❤️
CVG reminds me a lot of Pittsburgh. Used to be a major hub, went through serious decline, has gotten more air service recently, empty at night, tram from baggage claim to airside terminal...it is all so similar!
This is the first trip report I've seen from the CRJ-550 that features the economy/E+ seats. All the other ones have been in first class, so it's good to finally see how it really is towards the back of the plane where I'll likely be lol. Great work!
I've flown from Chicago to CVG many times. I am still in awe of just how massive Lake Michigan is. I don't get to see it leaving O'Hare but I do on my return flight from Cinti. I've ate at that McDonald's before, lol. My flight was delayed getting there so I was "stuck" there for about 14 hours overnight, Oy, it was rough but I made it,lol. My gate to Sioux Falls was just to the left of McDonald's.
It's interesting hearing the early covid news on the TV before you boarded. Can't believe it is now august and this is still going on. I'm in Melbourne Australia and we are having a deadly second wave, we are in a state of disaster and level 4 restrictions. It has been 7 months since I have been on an aircraft, I can't wait to be able to travel again, even if it is just domestic or to New Zealand. Thanks for your regular uploads! ✈
My pleasure! And I feel ya, I had to stop flying here for almost 3 months and I was REALLY craving travel after that, can't imagine 7 months. Hope things get better over there in Australia soon!
This is the first video I’ve seen from your channel. So I subscribed as well. Your review is very informative and helpful as I’ll be flying this very jet in March of winter 2022. I’ll be connecting from Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport to Chicago O’Hare and then to my destination.
Gotta say, those Mitsubishi CRJ-550s look pretty clean. I haven't seen one up close yet but I'm looking forward to it! I will say it's too bad Bombardier sold the CRJ series though.
Interesting to see a 9 landing at CVG. I connected through there many times on DL. I never saw 9 used. It was always landings on the parallels and takeoffs on 27 or the parallels. I wonder if the captain requested a special clearance. Is the satellite terminal E that Comair used still there?
@@thejazzguy13 were those lights really all aircrafts landing one after another so close together?? And on top of that they were side by side with a second row of continuous landing aircrafts descending to a parallel runway??
Very nice video, cute short flight. The 550 looks pretty nice, UA needed to come up w something. I think the seats Look Marvelous and United has got a great selection of movies on their entertainment In my experience Slimline seats are very comfortable and always have added legroom Nice review Thanks for sharing Liked and subbed
Hahaha yes a fellow Yinzer needing to represent Pittsburgh! As a Yinzer, I’d of done the same! Heck when I fly to and from Orlando to visit my sister I have some type of Pittsburgh sports clothing on! Represent!!!!!! Be safe....
I just love how jazz tells us where he is on his videos and everything that goes on just wondering do u have any videos that’s shows u in a bad snow or rain storm
Fun fact. You’re actually landing in Hebron Kentucky, not Cincinnati. This is why it’s called Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. You’re 20-25 from downtown Cincinnati Ohio!
March 2020 is when I thought I had COVID after I met a young woman from China. And Cincinatti airport is where and Air Canada flight crash landed and caught fire. The great Stan Rogers was aboard. He was only thirty-three...
This and the Delta A220 are on my to-fly list! Getting harder now to fiddle around to getting the right routes with the right aircraft, etc. Someday! - Red
Great video (as usual!).....your time lapse sequence of the aircraft landing in Chicago reminded me of a scene from “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”....very cool!
You should fly out to RDM some day! You’d probably have to connect, but United,American, Delta, and Alaska fly there, so you should have no problem finding a flight. Although it’ll be more pricy since it’s a smaller airport, Central Oregon is beautiful!
Another amazing report!!! As I told, loved the timelapse part! I still have mixed fellings about the CRJ-550! Let's see. Thank you sharing it with is. Next Saturday I will have my first flight since February!!
down in ohio swag like ohio sick vid i love planes and i got on to this site called track flight 24 hour and i just hit random planes and helicopter and they are live one time it said one was flying over my house on the mad and it was true it was really cool and i live where there is a huge hospital and they have helicopters and they will show a picture of the plane when you click on it you should check it out it is called 24 hour flight status

Great to see ya traveling, thank you for flying with us again Mr. Jazz, it was a true privilege to serve you!! -Your friends at United CS Denver 💙✈️
I do like seeing nearly empty airports, always get the feeling I'm in some kind of horror movie. :D
Great trip report. Just flew this aircraft yesterday, differently different during the COVID area :P
Seeing all those planes on approach like disciplined fireflies in the time lapse was awesome.
Never in my life had I walked so much at an airport like I did at ORD! Thanks for sharing!
Great video! CVG is my favorite airport in the entire state of Kentucky and my all time favorite Airport!
Last time I was ever at CVG was way back in 2006 before the merger. It was one of my favorite airports when flying delta. So sad to see it decline.
I live here and your so right hardly anymore nonstops to anywhere from Cincinnati
Nice, CVG is my home airport so it's always great to see it in trip reports.
I really enjoyed this. I’m a flight attendant based in ORD and I haven’t flown since late March . made me feel like I was going to work again and seeing my fav sushi spot in T2 😪❤️
I hope things can get better for you soon, really hate seeing so many people getting furloughed and laid off 😕
I love the vibration of the fan blades during taxi
Another great video! I was born and raised in Indy so I loved you videoing crawfordsville from the air! I must say, I still love all your shoes!
CVG reminds me a lot of Pittsburgh. Used to be a major hub, went through serious decline, has gotten more air service recently, empty at night, tram from baggage claim to airside terminal...it is all so similar!
I thought ur flight was boarding at first which scares me 😂
Gotta love the charm of ol’ T2. Oldest terminal at ORD. Really showing it’s age too.
I was on this same CRJ when it was N161GJ! Can't believe it's basically a whole new plane now!
Cool bro! That's awesome how they completely redid it

Awesome trip report! I’m so glad you got to visit Cincinnati! Did you have fun?😸😻😸
Thanks bro and me too :D And of course!
I watched a few videos, so I just Subscribed.

Just flew ORD-CVG on Sunday, and ORD was definitely not empty. Also cool seeing N161GJ as a -550, I flew on it in 2015 as a -700

We flew from TPA to ORD to Fairbanks Alaska a couple years ago. All airports were nice, but ORD was just a little busier and cooler than the rest.
Excellent content sir 👏👏👏👏🔥

United Economy Plus has way better legroom than First Class. I like this section.
Have you ever flown Charlotte to San Diego or Atlanta to San Diego?
Time lapse was badass.
Awesome trip report. Subscribed. Also, I saw your plane land, I was plane spotting there that day!
Awesome man and thanks a lot!
Ok
Man look at all those planes coming into land

3:28 that is incredible
Nice! You’re flying with CRJ550.
I miss traveling. Who missed traveling

Very Informative,
Great stuff I been to Cvg for frontier training pretty it a goood small airport keep it up
Had to look at this again - what are the chances. You walked past my boss there near gate F12 - to funny. Had to take a double take.
Wow United
This is nice for a small plane
3:28 Very nice!!!
Kinda creepy seeing a gleaming sea of lighs then an infinite abyss of nothingness known as Lake Michigan. Quality review!
I just love how jazz tells us where he is on his videos and everything that goes on just wondering do u have any videos that’s shows u in a bad snow or rain storm
Yah I have multiple vids with rain & snow storms, check out some of my early MYR or YYZ vids to start!
Had too leave your mark with the Sharpie.🤣🤣
Absolutely 😂
Great video!! Love the CRJ👍 Only negative is hearing that asshat Jake Tappers voice playing in the background!!
Thanks man 😂😂😂
awesome trip report! A flight attendant is not enough for a CRJ, maybe 2 or 3 should be better
Ginger Ale, I see you are also a man of culture
Welcome to the city i call home
This is really Cool!
Fun fact. You’re actually landing in Hebron Kentucky, not Cincinnati. This is why it’s called Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky. You’re 20-25 from downtown Cincinnati Ohio!
Timothy Dudley True, but if they called it the Hebron, KY Airport, no one would know where the fuck that was.
William Bryan technically they call it Cincinnati/N.KY airport. I just think it gives the misconception.
It’s rare for the FA’s after landing announcement to be complete before exiting the runway D:
Another Great Video! I'm going to have to say that CVG is my favorite Airport in Kentucky. And have you been to any Ohio Airports?
Thanks a lot! Yep just recently flew out of Cleveland!

Well I work for Delta at ORD and we are getting much much more CS-100
cvg is probably mostly known for its cargo
Can we appreciate how that mcdonalds ACTUALLY had a working ice cream machine????
The boss baby the movie!
United the sigh!

What is the music in beginning
That is a great flight!
You should travel to New Orleans again someday. I heard jazz music originated there.
Was there a year or so ago! But def I need to go back again, its so awesome
@@thejazzguy13 I am glad you had a great time there.
@@thejazzguy13 You mentioned that you were a musician in one of your videos. I am hoping to see you make a video where you compose music.

You should do hawaiana airlines
What’s your favorite airport that you’ve been I. All of your videos
Hmm tough question but for some reason YVR is standing out to me at the moment!
Whats the sound at around 21:29?
Our airport here in Cincinnati is not what it used to be a lot of flights cut by delta
Indeed. And it was getting better too, but covid ruined it.
Where were you go next
They still treat people like garbage.. Flying in the 70s 80s and 90s were so good.. No fees and all seats had leg room and you got food..

Yes i want to go airport!
It’s crazy how in March only 105 people were dead and only 5,700 people had it we are in August an millions have it and the death toll is over 150k
That’s if you actually believe the numbers.
