Absolutely fabulous version - LOVE it!!
Sam Bush - an American treasure!
There are very few performances I've enjoyed photographing as much as this one. So much energy, so much fun.
Sam Bush and Lyle Lovett. Two "gods" in their own right. What a treasure and treat to hear them cover Towns Van Zandt classic.
saw them at Merlefest a few years ago did a lightening fast version which really blew me away - Sam Bush the iron man!
Yes this is what’s called proper music 🎶
Wow! Great stuff! Makes me miss those Festy days! ☮️
Glad to see Sam bringing this one back
so good
Sublime!
Excellence. Kudos all around!
Is that Scott Vestal on the 5-string?
yes sir
I love Lyle but I don't think he adds much here.
You are wrong Bob Lyle adds so much to this
It was a wonderful festival and this is but one of those 'get folks up on stage' giddyup. Nothing more. You were expecting Layla with Duane Allman? Take it for what it was. A lot of fun for musicians and for us who saw it first hand.
Lyle's is the best singing, that's all. It's practically his song these days compared to just about anybody else that sings it.
