Rolex Getting Shaved

This is what will happen if you don't brush your doodle! A groomer just can't spend hours brushing out a dog with a lot of matts. This dog, Rolex, would go swimming in their pool every day and was not brushed well for months. His coat was completely matted at the skin and it took hours to get him all shaved as the matt was so tight and hard. I gave him breaks but it was also painful as the matt was pulling on his skin. He felt so much better once I was all done but he didn't look good. I now find shaving the eyebrows makes them look better than leaving anything above the eyes when they have to be shaved completely like this.
