Such a cool deck! One part you missed is though is Maskwood Nexus makes the "dragons" part of Magda viable. For example if I have Maskwood in play. I've generated infinite treasure. I can now search for any creature because all my creatures are dragons now. So you could grab Xorn,a Dwarf or something else you're missing. Basically with Maskwood out you can tutor for any creature with Magda
I'm using Magda for my Cedh deck, but I'm still new to the format. Can anyone tell me why Twinshot Sniper of all things keeps showing up in Magda decks? I can't see how it's worth anything.
Multiple ways of doing it. Case A) Clock of Omens combo + Xorn, you have infinite untapped treasures. If you don't have Xorn, tutor Maskwood Nexus. Loop Elixir of Immortality to rebuy Soul-Guide Lantern + Twinshot. Case B) Maskwood Nexus | Clock of Omens | Goblin Welder/Engineer | Cursed Mirror | Liquimetal Coating/Torque | 2 artifact creatures (including Twinshot). Sounds like a lot but Magda can grab everything. 1) Maskwood Nexus makes all creatures into dragons/dwarves for Magda to tutor and make treasures. 2) Magda tutors Goblin Welder/Engineer. 3) Cursed Mirror clones Welder with haste. 4) Coating/Torque turns Welder into an artifact. 5) Magda tutors Twinshot + another artifact creature with toughness 2 or less (let's say Universal Automaton). 6) Twinshot kills Automaton. 7) Weld Twinshot away, return Automaton. Tapping Welder triggers Magda = treasure. 8) Clock taps Automaton + treasure to untap Welder. Tapping Automaton = treasure. 9) Weld Automaton away, return Twinshot. Tapping Welder = treasure. 10) Twinshot targets an opponent. 11) Clock untaps Welder. 12) Repeat. Ah finally a nice list. A lot of lists run a lot of radom (or anti local meta) cards. I would take out the sword and add trinisphere and swap chiss goria for ancient copper dragon. No roaming throne?
Thanks for explaining. A lot of the primers show the combo cards but don’t explain the combos thoroughly enough. I really appreciate this.
O hell yeah! Definitely alot more souped up than the deck im running, but still a super versatile and explosive deck! Great vid

Very good video, about to get into the deck and this gave some needed explanation!

It's for when you need to remove stax creatures, Collector Ouphe being the big problem one.
Nice, that makes some sense. Now, this is just something to have in hand, yeah? There's no help against ouphe tutoring it I'm guessing.
can you explane twinshot sniper combo?

@@AmmiO2 omg magda is so complicated to play :D

No roaming throne?
My boy chris-goria .
Another great dwarf for the deck is gloin dwarf emissary as a treasure creator
Gloin is pretty good but I don't play any 3 CMC dwarves as they're just too slow for competitive. Like adaptive automaton? Way too low impact
🕰️⚒️
this is an INCREDIBLY weak magda, for a 2k budget....
Why make deck tech guides with a deck worth 2 bands?
What should be changed? Why do you think it is weak?
