To be a manager you need the whole package, good communication skills, empathy,problem solving skills all these need to come out not just the football analytical side only.

If I were a manager, I'd try to adopt both methods. I will use both in games to be unpredictable. If one doesn't work, the other will work and it'd be so difficult for opponents to know which way you're going. Stretch the defense with peps method and if you still aren't able to breakdown the defense, you quickly switch to klopp's
Actually Pep has been using overlapping fullbacks this season a lot. When Mendy is playing, Pep uses him as an overlapping fullback rather than an inverted fullback like zinchenko.
However, using overlapping fullbacks means you rely mostly on crosses in the final third and City do not have tall forwards or midfielders for that. The game against Arsenal in the FA cup semi final is an example. Pep played one overlapping fullback (Mendy) while the other fullback (Walker) was more inverted. So on the left hand side, Mendy would overlap while Sterling moved inside. Mendy delivered a lot of crosses in the box but Arsenal would easily defend them becasue City lacks physically huge players.
Given City small stature and highly technical midfielders, it is logical why Pep always resorts back to his plan A of attacking half-spaces instead of wingspaces.

With Werner, Ziyech and Kai coming in, it maybe suitable for Chelsea to play a hybrid of both systems where one winger tucks in, the CM stays and opposite fullback inverts. This should be interchangeable to add an element surprise. Nouman, can you analyze any team that uses a hybrid of both systems.

Just me or is it so enjoyable watching pep and klopp's team play like of alk games i've watched i never got bored
Personally, I am a huge admirer of Guardiola's style and philosophy. His teams are always a joy to watch, win or lose. The way Pep's teams build up play from the back is just second to none. They way they change shape when in and out of posssession is just flawless when they are at their best. For me, I have always loved Pep's style.

Excellent presentation. However, klopp and pep's tactics are not fixed to just these formations. They a top managers simply because they know how to tweak and fine-tune their formation against different opponents to counter their play and adjust/evolve throughout the match if their formation stop working or the opponent discovered a way to overcome existing formation. Just like strong viruses, in order to stay on top, they need to mutate and evolve...

I don't think so, unless you're a relegation team...both Liverpool and City use fullback although in different ways
