I have to say, I’m grateful I’m blessed to be retired at 51 three years ago, and living in Colombia as of last year. I use to always watch these types of videos and get excited, but that was about it. Savings rate is much more, and faster since I moved out of the USA last year. Come summer after finish building up a 2 year emergency fund, it’s time to bring out my travel books, and start creating a bucket list. Until then, I can enjoy some of the regional Latin America spots. Just can’t fathom having my current lifestyle in a country where the economy is designed for higher pay workers, not retirees. Just not working to 65 to retire. Sure I can live in the USA, take 2 trips a year, that’s just not gonna work for me.
You don’t need to be rich to live abroad, and have a upgraded lifestyle, just retired, or a remote worker, and have a average income.

How funny, most Americans can’t afford a real vacation! I think it’s called a staycation 👍🏻 in addition, cruising is a dangerous option.
