I have share my bad experience October last year with a Spiti tour driver Arun Negi last year through email. But unfortunately you did not update Spiti driver's traveler review. I think this will hamper transparency and relevance of traveler's review.
@user-iw9mg2vc1h you can post that on Spiti taxi video too.. there is no means anymore for me to post reviews of others as I literally get 1-2 a day.. i just keep an eye on who is getting consistently good to great feedback and who has lapsed in services for 2-3 times consecutively after sharing the feedback with the drivers.. unless I don’t get 2-4 bad reviews of drivers, I do not remove them from the list.. you can always post feedback on TH-cam comments of relevant taxi rates videos. Your feedback should have been passed to the drivers if you sent me over email

Dheeraj ji, want to know: if the multi-day tour cost include night halt charges for the car? Or we need to pay night halt charges extra? Also, what about ustadji's(driver) fooding and lodging expenses?
Well, the multi-day tour cost includes everything including night halt charges as well as drivers food and lodging. However, as a general habit, I always ask my driving companion if he is sorted for food and stay or need help.. they are always sorted.

Very useful info. Thank you. Now, if I want to cover Tsomoriri and Hanle at one go in two days, is there a possibility of finding a shared taxi? If so, what about overnight stay at Tsomoriri? Do they arrange it, of course charging extra?
No, that kind of trip in just two days will be difficult. You will need 3 days and you may need to look out for some options up there in Leh main market and search a bit to find such shared tourist tours.

Hello sir, very informative video, we are going on 17 th june visiting leh-hunder-turtuk-pangong-hanle-leh. will there be any cold at day time apart from night, we are are carrying only summer clothes for june thinking that there will not that much of cold and we are planning to wear short can we wear short and dresses in month of june? i know its a silly question but we have pack our bags accordingly. Please tell about cloth for 17th june for girls
Preeti, it is still pretty cold up there in Ladakh.. days are still cool like 15 deg C but nights are cold less than 8 deg C… and then pangong, tso moriri, passes, all will be much much colder.. so go with layered clothing so that you can adjust to temperatures

Hllo.. Dhiraj.. need insight from you..i am planning to visit leh on 16 th August... Want to go to 3 days ( 18 August to 20 August) trip to Nubra.. pangong . Do i need to book accomodation in advance and as we two are traveling.. will there be any issue.finding shared cab for our journey to nubra and Pangong.. Thanks and regards
Most likely they should not change the prices in the coming season but plz stay tuned on this channel as I will update the rates video in case it changes or I start monthly updates from March time where I provide all the new updates till end of season up to October
Dheeraj ji, I am planning a tour to ladhak. Can you suggest if that could would be fine or not. (Day 1) reach sissu from punjab -> (day 2) sarchu -> (day 3) leh -> (day 4) nubra -> (day 5) pangong -> (day 6) hanle -> (day 7) tso moriri-> (day 8) sissu -> (day 9) punjab
@@discoverwithdheeraj I get it. Sarchu has more height so just pass through it will be better. Only thing is I have 9 days as usual. Spending 2 days in leh would be difficult. Also suggest amount of fuel I should carry. I am planning 40L Jerry can of diesel leh-> nubra-> pangong-> hanle-> tso moriri. I am driving scorpio n 4x4 manual. Would this be enough fuel? Or should I carry 10L more? Also in this way do I get any patrol pump? And also if any permit is required for hanle stay or tso moriri
This is a very useful video, thank you, it will help plan my travel next year. I've subscribed. Do we need to arrange travel before we reach Leh (by air) or can we do it after arriving, in the first days when we are acclimatizing? Also how are payments normally done, in cash?
Mostly these drivers prefer cash or direct bank deposit. You can pre-arrange the driver and tell them your itinerary, they will charge only based on the tour not the days when you are in Leh in case you decide not to use them. However, if you want taxi to come for local sightseeing then of course they will charge you for local sightseeing rates. You should arrange in advance especially in season time and also because taxis are not readily available at airport. So, you will need pre-arranged taxi to pick up at airport.. Everything is charged tour based, plus regulated by the taxi union so hardly there is a major play of deviating from fixed rates.
Hi..we got rigzin bhai s number from this group...he provided us with a comfortable car and the driver norboo was efficient and sweet natured...we found the rates to be reasonable and rigzin bhai himself was always available over the phone for any help...thanks to him we had a super smooth 11 days vacation ...
hi Shruti , this is great to know you had a wonderful trip 👍 .. Ringzin ji and his son are really good when it comes to Ladakh trip taxi services.. thanks for sharing feedback and super good to know you had wonderful trip to Ladakh..
Bhai, any update on bikes for Leh, are they allowing ? We are waiting in Manali, no solid update, day before some people returned back from baralacha as they were not allowing
Well, you guys can go over to Jispa.. no point waiting in Manali.. some they have allowed I know.. just land at Darcha early in morning.. also once you are in Jispa if they dont allow you one day then you can arrange a pickup truck from Keylong that you can load the bikes in and it will let you cross the Baralacha La then in pickup truck/suv and then you can continue after crossing on bike..
Since 2021 end of season, Indian do not need any permit anymore in Ladakh for regular sightseeing. You just need to pay the Ladakh Environment Fee on the website and carry the receipt of it. Here is the link where you need to pay it: www.lahdclehpermit.in/register-as-domestic Current Ladakh environment fees are broken down as following: 1. Environment Fee = Rs 400 one time 2. Wildlife Fee/Something = Rs 20 per day 3. Red Cross Fee = Rs 50 one time but Optional, you don’t need to pay if you don’t want to. DO NOT confuse environment fee receipt with permit. You just need to carry this fee receipt, hard copy or soft copy. This receipt will be checked at various checkposts. Hence, people are confusing it with permit but this is just verification that you have paid the fees
What will be the total cost from Leh to Leh including pick up and drop from airport in an Innova for total 10 days program of Leh sight seeing, nubra, tutuk, pangong, Siachen, Umlingla and other important must visit place..
For taxi in Ladakh, Chamba - 09596979829 / 09906999808. A very, very nice and humble person from Ladakh. Knows me pretty well, more like another family friend in Ladakh. A bit of a shy personality, but he will do whatever is possibly best to make your journey successful. When you refer Dheeraj Sharma or my TH-cam Channel being a reader/viewer of it, I am sure he will do his best possible effort in every way for rates and services.
WTF !!! These rates are just over the roof ! For my NCR > Srinagar > Leh > Nubra (TurtuK) > Pangong > Hanle > Umling La > Tso Moriri > Manali > NCR - I have calculated a very basic conservative mileage, and the total cost comes out to be 27,000 only !! Compared to 1Lakh for taxis !!

Dheeraj bhai what's the latest update of road conditions of ladakh and spiti valley, Bike trip plan Kiya hua hai 5th June se from Srinagar side...ladakh and spiti circuit both cover karenge
Manali Leh Highway is also restored for two way traffic. Timings are Darcha to Leh 6 am and 9 am, while Leh to Manali allowed from Sarchu between 12 pm and 3 pm. Most of the route is two-way, except for a small 8-km stretch from Suraj Tal to Bharatpur is where the road is one-way and caution is needed. The overall road conditions are manageable, there is a stretch of about 20 KM between Pang and Gata Loops which is bad too but manageable.
Hj Dheeraj... thanks for your excellent vedio! can you please tell me approx cost for a taxi ( for 3 pax ) from leh to Srinagar on this weekend (4th june) ?
Sir, i am planning to travel leh in 1st week of september...i have made up a plan which like Manali-Leh-Leh sight seeing -nubra valley-pangong lake - Manali.. I want to book a taxi for Six person..how much will be the taxi cost? And if we want to stay a night in jispa or keylong between manali and leh in bpth way travel,is the cost of hotel and food are excluded with taxi fare or included?
Thanks so much Dheeraj , your videos made it very easy to plan the trip sitting at home. However, I would like your opinion on the travel itinerary made by us for a trip we have planned from 7th to 17th sept, 2023: Day 1 & 2: Leh local place, Day 3: leh to Nubra Day 4 : option1 (Nubra to tuktuk to Sumur) Option 2 (Nubra to Tuktuk to Durbak) Day 5 : Option 1 (Sumur to Pangong) Option 2 (Durbuk to changla pass to Pangong) Day 6 : Pangong to Hanley Day 7 : Hanle to Tso Moriri Day 8 : Tsp Moriri to Leh back Day 9 : Buffer/rest Can you please let us know which option for day 4 is feasible or worth ? Also any approximate idea for the car charges please. your suggestion will surely make this trip more interesting, :)
Hi Dheeraj, we made our happy trip to spiti, and we are back to Manali, but still very unsure, about Manali to leh road opening. We are not sure, mixed answers from everyone, can you please help us, as to whether the Manali - leh roads are open? And is it safe for bikes to go?
Well the Manali Leh as per official announcement is supposed to open from tomorrow.. of course, if the conditions are conducive.. I saw a big jam today at Darcha Jispa so it feels like with pressure of such a long line of vehicles they will have to open soon, of course in case it is safe..
Brother, if we take all places of ladakh and take arrive directly into Leh via flight, what should be total taxi rate from leh to leh which include all worth visiting places,
Hi Dheeraj, thanks a lot for an amazing travel guide to Leh. Really helped me in trip planning. Do you have the latest taxi rate list for 2024-25? How much would it cost for a Leh-Nubra-Turtuk-Pangong Pso-Leh (3N4D - 2 nights in Nubra, 1 night in Pangong) trip? Thanks
@@discoverwithdheeraj Thanks a lot. I contacted directly a recommended driver from TripAdvisor and blog which also included airport pick/drop and 1 day local sightseeing in Leh on top of my 3N/4D itinerary for 32000 for Innova Crysta :)

Hello would like to go from Srinagar -Kargril -Suru Vally- Kargil then in two or three days from Kargil to Leh The best thing is that I take a taxi from Srinagar to Kargil and do the rest with a local taxi driver from Kargil. Do you also think so?
You should follow like Get to Kargil, get local Kargil taxi for Zanskar drop and in Zanskar you will be forced to rent Local zanskar taxi by union up there, recently active now. Zanskar taxi can drop you to Leh only after local sightseeing in Padum. You can come back via Singeyla-Sirsirla-lamayuru route from Padum to Leh.
Isn't it better from padum back to kargil lamayuru alchi instead of via pass zanskar? I wrote to Taxi and unfortunately they only answered in Hindu. Do you know any trustworthy taxis that speak English in Kargil? simple English is completely sufficient And at least a good accommodation in Kargil? Thank you for your help

I think srinagar-leh or manali-leh in 2 days is round trip rent. If I come from Srinagar & end trip at manali total will be 28k . One way 28k is impossible rate ! ( More than Switzerland)

Sir, what are the charges of accommodation to stay near pangong Tso for a couple.
what about driver's accommodation and food?? who has to bear these expenses?
Hi Dheeraj vai...
Thanks for your helpful information
I just want to know that will the cars available in June at this rates or I have to pay extra...

(Day 1) reach sissu from punjab -> (day 2) sarchu -> (day 3) leh -> (day 4) nubra -> (day 5) pangong -> (day 6) hanle -> (day 7) tso moriri-> (day 8) sissu -> (day 9) punjab
Bhai plz dont sleep at Sarchu.. sleep at Jispa and directly go to Leh next day.. then take one more day rest in Leh before going to Nubra
BTW I used to be @oceantragic on IndiaMike and BCMT
Thank you for making these videos Dheeraj bhai
Thank you Ken bhai for all support from the ground

Bhai, any update on bikes for Leh, are they allowing ? We are waiting in Manali, no solid update, day before some people returned back from baralacha as they were not allowing
Well, you guys can go over to Jispa.. no point waiting in Manali.. some they have allowed I know.. just land at Darcha early in morning.. also once you are in Jispa if they dont allow you one day then you can arrange a pickup truck from Keylong that you can load the bikes in and it will let you cross the Baralacha La then in pickup truck/suv and then you can continue after crossing on bike..
@@discoverwithdheeraj are the road conditions ok for bike. Any advice ?
Roads are manageable as per what all tourists who have been there, told me..

Leh, nubra Valley, Turtuk, pangong Lake, hanle, tso mariri to manali keliye share taxi milta hain?
Mil jaayega but Leh mein dhoondhna padega aapko
Hi sir, inner line permit is still required for nubra valley and pangong lake or not?
Since 2021 end of season, Indian do not need any permit anymore in Ladakh for regular sightseeing. You just need to pay the Ladakh Environment Fee on the website and carry the receipt of it. Here is the link where you need to pay it: www.lahdclehpermit.in/register-as-domestic
Current Ladakh environment fees are broken down as following:
1. Environment Fee = Rs 400 one time
2. Wildlife Fee/Something = Rs 20 per day
@@discoverwithdheeraj ok thanks
What will be the total cost from Leh to Leh including pick up and drop from airport in an Innova for total 10 days program of Leh sight seeing, nubra, tutuk, pangong, Siachen, Umlingla and other important must visit place..

Hi, I'm going to travel solo in second half of June. I am a experienced driver, but do you think it's safe and sensible to travel solo in a car?
Does it make sense to rent a car from Leh and it might be cost effective than renting a cab and a driver?
I plan Leh, Nubra, Pangong, Hanle, Tso Moriri and back to Leh. Please let me know. Thanks and great videos!
Bhai a lot of people travel solo up there.. and since you are experienced, just drive with care and caution and don't follow too much off track routes... Stick to the main routes for above locations and you shall be fine.. you will find other cars or tourists to tag along in their vehicles tooo.
Bhai I'm first time traveller in laddakh, with my kids from goa I drove nearly 5000km make sure you carry enough of oxygen and fuel as anytime mountain roads might close otherwise no problem

You are looking for about Rs 60,000 for above route.
This way i dont think their tourism will increase....with this kind of behavior of locals in Ladakh....Why would anyone's spent the cost of a foreign trip to Ladakh untill they have a extra money's that doesn't bothers them otherwise this monopoly will soon become issues for locals
