Wouldn't there be some slight changes if your protagonist is either Chitose or Soji? Like some stages being a bit different or that there are more cutscenes with Chitose than with Soji (like the one where Chitose and Tetsuya are both deployed and Chitose has to run into a corner then Tetsuya has to save her) and adding a few more seconds and stuff? Or stage 8 and her not deployed which wastes even more when she finally joins again. And I dunno if you knew but pressing L1 + Start allows you to skip cutscenes much better than R1 + Start.
As far as I remember, the map differences between Soji and Chitose are mainly player/enemy deployment swaps, so you'd do the same things just moving in a different direction. You're probably right about the scene differences, but I'll leave that to someone with more patience/time to test. Unless it was super significant though, I still think it would be runner preference instead of a different category. DLC is obviously the bigger issue. About L1 + Start though, that's what I was using. I may have tried R1 + Start once though, because I mistakenly thought I could save a bit for a short scene. Surprisingly enough, I think there's at least one point where fast forwarding text is faster than scene skipping: Before one of Nine's "go to the meeting?" prompts.
I've thought about it, but I don't think I could add post-commentary without uploading again. I'm not much of a speaker anyway, so it probably wouldn't be very good. Any particular reason you ask though? Just curious.
Sure thing: pastebin.com/1XbgvGZ6 My original notes were handwritten, so this is just a cleaned up/expanded version of those. I'm 99% sure that the New Game+ route would benefit from more Ruri world tours earlier on, but I didn't realize it's effectiveness until a while in. If I find some time, I might try looking into this too. I'd be interested to hear what you come up with.
Saw your run of Snake Eater from GDQ. Good run.

What are the carry over to the New Game Plus?
Money, kill counts, tac points, tac tree progress/upgrades, and various parts that you decide to roll over into the next run.
@@YayMarsha thank you for the info.
Have you thought about commentary for any of you srw runs?

YayMarsha it’s kinda selfish but I like listening to people explaining the run I totally understand though. Thank you for the response
Do you have notes for this? I'd be interested in how I could adapt this for a standard New Game run.
