Is eva 1 really controllable when berserk? I am under the assumption that it isnt that's why i never went for eva ending. Also, i thought s2 engine was later in the game, i see your eva being very far from ship. Are you just disconnecting him to have him berserk later on or you somehow can have him disconnect without losong all energy?
It's only controllable by using a bug with Provoke. Energy isn't a concern when it goes berserk, so the S2 engine is just for ordinary use. Disconnecting is sometimes useful for moving Shinji to a better spot before going berserk, since the cable will just disconnect automatically at that point anyway.
@@YayMarsha i never knew that bug. Haha. Though i wonder, if he goes berserk, and face off some bosses on the other routes (shapiro, and the likes), does he stand a chance and defeat them? Or he can be killed by them even in berserj mode. Never tried having him berserk and fight other end game bosses. Also, im wondering if you were able to make heero with gundam wing zero custom move twice in the later stages of the posaydal route? I like wing series and heero but his stats and reflex is pretty low. Im not sure if he can reach 200 by the end of posaydal road. Playing in psx emulator by the way .
Yeah, they patched some stuff between Saturn and Playstation. Can't let people have nice things, you know? Not really sure about berserk EVA versus harder bosses, but I imagine it's highly dependent on Shinji's level. I remember reading that because of the synchronization bonus, Shinji can essentially have a higher hit/evade rate than Amuro. Assuming that kind of thing carries over to the dummy plug, and Shinji's level is high, a berserk EVA is probably just fine against later bosses. Kind of moot since Ideon exists though. Looking at the pilot database, it looks like Heero doesn't get double movement until level 61. Considering it takes 1,000 experience per level from 60 on...yeah. That sounds painful.
@@YayMarsha damn. It seems my calc is somehow since beyond 40 i think you need 2 levels for 1 reflex. And at 40 i think he's around only 190. Kind of sad. I really liked heero but if 61 is needed, i might stop prioritizing his levels. Tried eva berserk on mid tier bosses like full flat, they do result in 0% hit rate, so berserk might even be possible to fight and even defeat the end game bosses. Ill try when i get there and update here if he's feasible. He's 98% sync rate right now i think, level 50. Im not actually using ideon since it diminishes the difficulty of the game for me. Kind of a cheat unit, too much op. The only map weapon i use is cybuster and zz gundam since they both have lucky and im using it to maximize my money gains. Also, i like them both even if judau has shit stats.

Why Quatre appeared on the dialogue at the end and turned grey, but i don't understand japanese mostly, anyone can explain that? it's quite disturbing.
Judging from Google Translate's miserable attempts at image translation, Shinji is lamenting that he's alone and that things weren't supposed to end that way. Shinji doesn't recognize Quatre (one of his close friends), and instead groans about such a lonely world being pointless. Huge grain of salt because machine translation, but it seems to fit given the Evangelion TV series.

Honestly, it's probably meant as a not-so-subtle hint that Quatre is the key to avoiding this "bad" ending. Either that, or just twisting the nail a bit with the assumption this isn't your first ending. The former seems pretty likely to me. Keep in mind that a "normal" playthrough wouldn't just miss recruiting Quatre. He would actually die. That might be relevant somehow?

You're asking why it's sometimes 79 and sometimes 80? There's a map in F that you can skip over, so that's why the episode number can be different at the end.

I'm guessing you're playing the Playstation version. The Saturn version has the same soundtrack, but they sound different.

Assuming you didn't recruit Quatre, it's most likely a problem with how many times EVA 01 went berserk. Maybe you miscounted?

Are you asking where the remaining 14-15 maps are? If so, you can't play those when going for the EVA ending, since the game ends early.
