@@Heilerssito el problema con los angeles de neon genesis es que la mascara que porta lilith en la ecena, es en verdad la mascara de adan es por eso que kaworu se da cuenta de que es lilith y no adan, realmente los angeles querian llegar a la terminal del dogma para reactivar a adan y no fucionarse con lilith, la fucion de ambos crearia un tercer impacto que era realmente lo queria seele
Arguably the heaviest episode/scene in all of Eva (excluding Eoe) no matter how many times ive watched theough the series (over 50 times) the scene where Shinji kills Kaworu will always bring me to tears. The scenario of a depressed, love starved loner being forced to kill someone who showed unconditional love for them with the most beautiful musical piece in the background will remain one of the most oppressive and sad scenes in anime.
It was done that way on purpose. There is no unconditional love in reality. That is a large part of the show's message. The 'only you can love and take care of yourself' in the final episode was a direct indictment on the idea that another person can ever be everything to you. That is why Gendo destroyed everything to try to get Yui back which is unequivocally shown as a negative act. Realistically the only thing Kaworu can stand for without compromising those themes that were established is divine love which may be why he has some christlike qualities to him. There's no disputing that he also constitutes a love interest option for Shinji, but people oddly want to throw away the entire theme about relationships that the show is built on just to give Shinji an unrealistic happy ending of perfect love.
