    As a Malaysian Chinese, I am truly embarrassed with their ignorance towards the minority here. I do have a lot of Indian friends and they are amazing bunch of people. I wish Chinese Malaysian would open their eyes and realise that Malaysia do not only consist of Malays and Chineses but also Indians. Sending loves to all my fellow Malaysian Indians

      Its actually amusing to realise that mixed race marriages statistically are mostly between and Indian man and a Chinese woman. You can check this at JPN. I could become a racist here and say Indian men are way better than Chinese men. But that wouldn't be fair would it.
      So now you know why there are so many Chindians in Malaysia.

      this comes from my point of view but, maybe its because some companies require their employees to speak mandarin to deal with chinese customers who prefers to talk in mandarin or cantonese rather than english. i would say that it is a great communication advantage, so it acts as a bonus not only to the company/employer but also to the employee as well. it might seem racist but personally, i find it to just be a bonus requirement or qualification since other races could also learn the language *i am currently trying but, i swear mandarin is so hard XD*

    • @9faris3
      @9faris3 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Race assumption ain't racist if the intention is to be aware of not doing anything wrong to that race culture.
      For example, putting chopstick straight into the rice is NO NO for Chinese, slurring family members is NO NO for Indian, making joke about them eating pork is a NO for Malay.
      PS: These are some examples I pick up growing up and some people don't even care about it but most people still care. So know your friends.

    mostly nowadays people use Racial Slurs to greet others and none of them would feel offended and would just laugh it off. People would usual do this with their friends close friends or people who they have met before. But what makes it even more interesting is that people who are in the same race would always get called either "Hitam" or "too white" because one of them has darker/lighter skin color even tho they are the same race. But still, they won't feel offended and laugh it off. I was actually confused when this first happened and now it just became an everyday thing for me

      silly question..It is like asking to China,India & Indonesia country,why other race don't get any privillage there.. some people don't think it's fair too... Logically, nobody ask you to be born here BTW.. It is not Bumi's fault why you are here. Even without the privileges MY is far better place to live in compared to your own motherland IF you are GRATEFUL enough. You can still be rich here,get vernacular school,freedom of religion,etc.. If anybody think motherland is far superior, nobody is stopping you from migrating back actually. Don't blame me if you hurt your feeling reading this. you ask for it

    • @thirunavakarasu4333
      @thirunavakarasu4333 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@aaronramly1705 my 'friend', you're the one being silly here. His question is apt, re-asked countless times without answers. Light digging perhaps will broaden your perspectives, but im not sure wether you read or not. Anyways, people in most other countries WITH CITIZENSHIP don't face such problems. Most are given equal rights on equal terms, regardless of race or origin. It's only here that one race is given so much previlege, based on ketuanan melayu. Even USA which idolises the concept of 'white supremacy' offers equal rights and previleges to all its citizens, except gender based voting system. I say most, because discriminating laws exists in other countries too, but mostly suffer largely due to poor treatment from 'superior' fellow citizens. Luckily, we haven't faced this type of issues here, yet.
      Now i understand that back in the day, special rights was given to Malays after the May13th to diminish the social and financial gap between the poor Malay and rich Chinese immigrants. Do you think it's still relevant now? Do Malays really need help as much as before? Kindly look into the statistics on racially divided T20s.
      We are ungrateful? Some nerves you got there my friend. We came here, helped develop this nation together, built something so precious and you call us ungrateful? And whenever you're unhappy you chase us to return to China and India? Don't you have something else to say? It's hurting and we grew tired hearing this shit over and over again.
      If it helps, for the sake of argument, if there should be a law which says special rights should be given to indigenous race of a land, the only one deserving is Orang Asli. They are the only first one to migrate and born here, not Malays, sorry to say. Infact all of us are abusing their rights.
      And finally noone's saying China or India is better than Malaysia. Even @bryan jude didnt say that. Show me one non Malay person who says that. Then why are you overreacting? Most of us are happy here, because this is our home. Some of us non Malays have more patriotism than Malays. Why do you think so many people fought on when Aljazeera tarnished Malaysia's image internationally? Why do you think we cheer and jump in joy when our athlethes perform well overseas? sigh i feel like im talking sense into a 6 year old boy. How old are you btw if i may ask?
      Look, noone's aiming for your positions or wealth. No we dont want that. The only thing we non Malays believe in is talent and effort. If im capable or smart or talented enough, why should i be dumb enough to think others must deserve the opportunity just because he's Malay and im Indian? And why a poor Malay gets to eat a healthy meal but a poor non Malay gets the leftover? Isn't that racism? You call that deserving, i call that inhumane. We pay taxes too don't we. Not SOME PEOPLE, everyone thinks it's unfair. Thats why its everywhere in the foreign news, bbc, economist, wiki, you name it. Makes sense now? Thats what equal rights are all about. Give us some room to breath in. This country can only prosper once you're able to grasp the disparity between the poor and rich, not Bumiputera vs nonBumis.
      ...
      Yeah. Get hurt or dont, not my problem. You asked for it.

It’s just like if lighter people tan that doesn’t make them less attractive (quite the opposite actually) but in the end beauty is in the eyes of the beholder 🤭

    Sorry, Malaysia's dangerous racism-issue is not about skin colour among the black, brown, yellow or white skinned people. It is very much more poisonous than that. It is about the origin of homeland where a particular citizen came from before or after the development of the modern state. When any citizen anywhere in the world is not treated with equal rights like what is given to the rest of the country's citizens, this racist treatment cannot be justified even by using various political and social excuses. Universally, if only the first known inhabitants or the earliest conquerors of a country can legally qualify as natives, then there are very few citizens in today's modern and developed world who can officially claim to enjoy this status.

    I'm very sick with racist in Malaysia, mostly in Selangor and KL. I met very old lady in KL, she hate all Chinese and Indian. In the shopping mall, mostly the job vacant is always written " chinese only" or "mandarin speaker only" by the way we are not in China or in Taiwan. I met chinese man in Bukit Bintang, he hate malay, and indian, but why?? that should be stop because the country now have a big problem with political crisis, taliban is all over the country, malay don't have many right because in the taliban prison. Those things should be stop, and for malay please stop to call other people kafir because kafir means go to hell. Malaysia is already heaven, so protect it and live in harmony. Greeting somewhere from Europe. Prost!!!

      Exactly! People of other race always pointing their finger at us Malay. Those are the same people who wants Malaysia to abandon the Ketuanan Melayu rules, so they can make Malaysia like Singapore where the native people become the second class citizen.
      Ask yourself, what whould you feel if this is happening in your country?
