- Movie World Gold Coast Vlog! Warner Bros. Movie World is a Theme Park on the Gold Coast in QLD, Australia!
Join us as we spend the afternoon at Movie World during Easter 2024 on Easter Sunday! We have a detailed look around the park, checking out rides, shows, characters, food, the Movie World parade and much more. We also check construction on the new Movie World rides and Roller Coasters - Flash Speed Force, Flight of the Wicked Witch and Kansas Twister! The latter two are part of the brand new Wizard of Oz land, opening late 2024.
Wizard of Oz is Movie World's new land, opening late 2024. It will have a lot of theming, and two new Roller Coasters: Flight of the Wicked Witch, and Kansas Twister! One is a Vekoma suspended family coaster, while the other is a Vekoma Dueling Family Coaster.

The WW area really needs to be expanded at least a few more rides

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed! We visit all the Gold Coast parks (and often ones beyond) but mainly Movie World and Dreamworld as they're closest to us. They should bring back the behind the scenes tours for sure, they were awesome!

It is great to get back to movie world for a update! (when you walk in you feel like you in a movie or something) I seen worse too when I went on school holidays to the theme park it was CRAZY busy that 2 hour line just for scooby doo was just ridicolous but it was worth it (rare to see a character singing in the rain thats so rare I HAVE not seen it before) I love the gotham city awards I agree with you I am a Batman fan to when I saw the joker show at movieworld years ago i ran away because i was scared of the Joker but I love in the show that batman saves the day! (like he always does) We love batman! DO DO DO BATMAN!
Seeing scooby doo spooky coaster is so sad Like I wish it was opened now I wonder what the upgrade will be like when it opens in 2025 I miss riding it hopefully the upgrade will defiently be worth it Cant wait to have a ride on the flash And wizard of oz land cant wait to see the wizard of oz land (Love to see carnival games at movieworld great for the whole family) Wild west falls is a great ride to get on if its a hot day like summer I do love getting splashed on the ride! (sad it goes down many times tho such a shame if it does go down when its a hot day) ITS A great ride to cool down on Love batman and love what it has in here (the props etc EVERYTHING) love the batmobile gonna be sad to see the batman legacy showcase go but it is what it is! Thats cool the exit takes u to dc villans unleashed because batman apart of DC! They need to get em screens workin again I love the photo ops by the way such a great way to take photos! and post them, Do you think doomsday destroyer will be replaced with a new ride? I think I had it time but I dont want it to go what do you think?
Yeah Im not a fan of hollywood stunt driver aswell That fire scene (I didnt like it) but I think they removed it I just wish this show was replaced with another show the noise hurts my ears with the cars and that Oh Yes I love kids WB (i remember watching it on tv does it still air idk) The carouse looking like it going slow for me And I love the ride selection in WB kids world so good, How was the operations on roadrunner did you check? (the water fountain is good too when its a hot day) Looney tunes studio tour should of Stayed! I absolutely LOVED that ride (even tho I never went on it haha) Idk why its closed for maintance maybe they repairing it or something thats totally strange and weird Good to see sylvester and tweety out doing meet and greets always fun meeting the characters
I LOVE the wonder woman show I seen it once and its always good watching it (Feels like ur playing a video game and fighting the villians) could be a bit longer but oh well! OO YUMMY YUMMY FOOD! (Ogre food?) see what I did there? I wonder what will replace Roxy theatre and I Love the movie world parade No joker float still did evil ogre take it? I hope he didnt I love superman escape that means we can see more construction on The flash! cant wait for that to open!! i went on the batwing spaceshot and it is a great view at the park when you go up! Thank you Koby! Wow, 2 hours for Scooby is pretty long! I'm very interested in seeing what the refurb will be like, too. I think DD will be replaced, but the question is when?
I miss the fire ball in the stunt show, but I understand why they removed it. The whole show really needs a refresh! Roadrunner seemed to have pretty quick operations. Looney Tunes River Ride was awesome, you would have loved it!
We have to stop evil Ogre kidnapping the poor parade floats!
Replace stunt show to Mad Max is the great idea and I wish to have more theme park's food and at lease more dancers in the parade.

Amzaing update, great to see the park like this on the holidays! Do agree with the JDD, definitely a unique attraction... but I wonder what the space on the other side of the wall is being used for. Any clue what's happening with Stage 14 and the pile of dirt in the Kids area? Hopefully soon we get an opening date for Flash Speed force and maybe a BTS of Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster!
Thank you! I believe the rest of the LTRR building is used as storage - the Carnivale floats from Sea World are stored there for example.
No word yet on Stage 14 - I'm guessing it's just maintenance to the building, but we can hope it's for something more interesting. The exciting pile of dirt is still exactly the same in Kids WB haha, nothing to report.
I think we'll get a Flash opening date soon! I hope they show us what's going on with Scooby, would make the wait a lot more bearable!
@@ThemeParkOgre The only things we know about scooby are new trains, magnetic breaking and new animatronics! I hope the wait is worth it
I always found it weird how some of the seats weren’t used in doomsday destroyer. They just wouldn’t use certain seats at all for some reason and would have them crossed off. Does anyone know why?
Don't know exactly, but I believe those seats would have needed maintenance. Either out of cost saving / waiting for a part / etc they decided to just keep the ride going rather than closing it
some real dedication putting subtitles over subtitles lol
I tried adding a third layer but TH-cam didn't let me! 😜(that's actually a byproduct of adding subtitles for all the different languages)
THEROY. With the rompur of doomsday distroyer being replaced. I think they may do a Wonder Woman ride as she doesn't have a ride, unlike the rest of the justice league at the park. Just a thought though
She deserves one for sure - I would have themed Flash to WW myself, and rethemed DC Villains to something no DC themed
I think you're right do some good things to improve the dc villain area and get rid of Doomsday destroyer make like a pirateship ride or like the claw ride there getting three brand new roller coasters there so why not another ride in the dc area.

Movie Park Germany recently replaced their stunt show with a new one, completely removed the old set that dated back to the warner days to build a new one!
Oh wow that's awesome, I'll have to check out a video of it. I hope they do something similar here!

@ThemeParkOgre other cool things from germany to check out are the Movie Park Studio Tour (the replacement for looney tunes Adventure over here) and Van Helsings Factory (our replacement for Germlins, no scooby here!) They are some good rides and hopefully give you a reason to come up here someday ;)

Doomsday area is dead. Move the props to the front of the park. Remove the ride and retheme the area completely.
The models would make great additions to the DC Rivals area!
Does anybody know if they routinely close Superman/Batwing for maintenance in February? Had a wonderful holiday with our family and plan on going same time next year but was sad to miss out on Superman 😊
yes they do around the same maintenance schedule yearly.

I have said it once and i will say it again the stunt show needs replacing. It has been here for too long and 2 cars drifting is bearly a stunt show.
