cant believe this is the 1st ss in tor...back in dubai, it was crazy long line when this opened, but after 2 weeks, people are ignoring it...hype will die down eventually.
Surprised only there’s one so far by now. . I was there visiting Toronto last month for the first time, and the hotel was a block away from the place. It always had line stretching outside when I walked by.There’s like three within a 5 -10 radius by my house in Montgomery county, Maryland. The best burger (a non-meat) is the shroom burger…the vegetarian on
I used to work in Liberty Village and the bakeries there are KILLER. And if you were having a tough day there was an LCBO next to Starbucks...just saying...
so impressed with Shake Shack! they take fast food to a higher quality level! Are they the best burgers in Toronto? probably not but they are right up there and for sure they are the best "fast food" chain burgers.
Hi Mandy, It's Darcie, I think chic fil a had a longer line when we went compared to shake shack. However we didn't make it to either companies opening days. Both companies had very friendly hard workers.
How much is a shack burger combo? Line I was watching CP 24 when they had the shack burger combo on opening day. I heard a combo was 30 bucks. That’s a little too rich for my blood even for Toronto!
A double Shack Burger, fries and a small soda is going to be $22. Which is about a dollar or two more than what you're going to pay for a burger, fries and soda from Burger Drops or Rosie's. Yeah, I've heard the biggest complaint is that they don't have a combo option.
Very different! Shake Shack is a "smash burger", which amounts to a thin and crispy patty. Square Boy and Johnny's are traditional grill burgers. But I do love a Johnny's Burger myself! Just don't ask for lettuce lol
i can't afford stuff like this anymore . besides, anything i can make is better. but hey - if you can afford living in TO you can probably afford this *or not*

Oh thank you for the recommendation ❤ I'll have to check that option out. Also i hope you had a nice time visiting Toronto❤
Those prices are insane. The hype won’t last.

Thats a great take on it! We couldn't agree more❤
five guys has better burgers
The customer service is fantastic
Totally agreed! Everyone we interacted with was a rockstar!
Were you guys around when chick fil a arrived to Toronto? How did Shake Shack's hype compare to that?
Hi Mandy,

maybe I missed it.. but I didn't see the veggieshack on this canadian menu... they need to bring that...best veggie burger.
Thanks for the insight! We will be watching to see if that item is added as well.
@@TorontoOurCityDarcie definitely... I think maybe canada gets a demo version but a full menu full scale deal isn't there yet.
Yum!!

American cheese is a Canadian invention
Haha, sorry buddy, I'm team Shake Shack over Five Guys so I feel like you have nothing to be sorry for.
haha 😂 what can I say, I love the free peanuts
To me, hamburger was ok at best, especially for the price. I wish we had one to Five Guys instead.
I do find Five Guys burgers to be very satisfying!
agree. that was such a tiny looking mid burger for $10
That single shack burger looks sad tbh
Always appreciate honesty. Did you have a favourite?
@@TorontoOurCityDarcie the shack stack or shroom burger is a must try imo
@@yappydabbad9323nice i will try the stack burger next time! Appreciate the suggestion ❤
They are soft like White Castle sliders. You can eat if you have no teeth if you're a baby or a senior.
It's hype and actually kind of gross. 😂
