Why is it that lifeboats are surrounded by other boats I appreciate marine space is premium but surely it’s common sense to provide a quick passage for these volunteers. Every second counts on a rescue
That was the station alarm which alerts the rnli volunteers with their pagers (beepers) turned off if they are near the lifeboat station. It was actually set off way too late.
The most ignorant comment I have ever heard. They don't go out to people in distress in the sea and who are about to drown and say "No can't take you, you are an illegal immigrant". "If you are lucky someone else might come along shortly (if they are not too late".) And NO I am not a leftie or whatever, I think our borders are a mess, and I know some immigrants are wanting to come here purely because of the handouts, housing etc. But I would never leave anyone to die when I had the means to save them and it was my job to do so as well.

Because they need the boat to be close enough to the station for when they change
Coxswain is priceless in the hat

The RNLI is the UKs #1 facilitator of illegal immigration.
How wrong you are. The RNLI is there to save lives no matter where their from!!!!
No, no it isn't.
you do realise BY MARATIME LAW they have to save ANYONE who may be in danger at sea.

@@cabbagedavidge Not a leftie, but certainly a senile old Goat.
Too slow the start
They have to wait for other crew information travel to station so all things considered this was fast response
