Infected Mushroom, Erez Eisen and Amit Duvdevani, they are both from Israel, they started in 1997 in Haifa. Their middle-eastern roots have been incorporated into basically everything they do, the use of various ethnic instruments, styles, melody progression to even vocals. While they are held as the epitome of psy-trance, they don't hold any genre constraints and mix and match any style they want, like adding heavy metal elements, house, drum&bass, hip-hop and even experimental stuff. They have collaborated with a wide range of artists from all over the world during their now 25 year career, like Lady Gaga, Sasha Grey and even the Foo Fighters. Infected Mushroom makes some of the most interesting music I've ever heard. My two favorite albums are "Legend of the Black Shawarma" and "Vicious Delicious". Even if you are not a fan of electronic music IM is still worth a listen if you like interesting stuff.
