Havent finished this video, but personally i am cautiously optimistic. The game seems pretty cool to be conpletely honest. The graphics look nice, the cyberspace levels look like tons of fun, and this game seems like it will have a story and playable characters I've been missing from sonic games recently, just the fact that amy is alongside sonic and tails is a good sign for playable character's. The animations look really janky tho, i do think they had an improvement in the nintendo direct trailer, but they still don't look good. The new characters design also looks nice. Im really worried about this game. If its really bad, it's going to become infamous like boom and 06, and the last thing we want is another "dArK aGe"
luckily iizuka revealed that you can play the game in the way you want dont want to do the puzzles? you dont have to! don't want to go for the enemies? you don't have to! you DO have to do something of course but the game is focused on giving you freedom in that sense
The various interviews give context to a lot of your complaints and nit picks. And regarding his speed, Sonic can level up his running so he gets faster the more you progress the skill tree.
I literally do not know how to feel abt the game, the game looks so empty it’s unbelievable. If they buff up the game with more stuff to do i like the graphics a lot and the idea is cool
you have to understand it only looks empty because unlike botw, this is a fast character the enemies, puzzles and what not are spaced out so you can run you dont want to run into multiple things
@@kaobunn if that’s the case, then I want to ask Does sonic work in an open world environment or just the usual linear gameplay levels, I mean what’s the point of an open world game if 1. You’re blazing by everything before you even notice it 2. The things(puzzles, enemies, etc) that are there are probably few and far between not to mention map size, would it NEED to be huge if sonic can just run between the two furthest corners of the map in a minute?
@@isaacinkwell we've barely seen the entire map itself and the devs said they kept making the world bigger and bigger as they tested how sonic ran from one end to the other
@@kaobunn well that answers my map question, but is sonic a good fit for open world gameplay or just the linear pathway it was built upon Not trying to rain on anyones parade, I personally never thought sonic was meant for open world exploration
@@isaacinkwell id say if the world was built around sonic's speed it could work i dont have a personal problem with the botw style open world they're doing for frontiers it all depends on how fun it is to play despite the lack of momentum but the fact its a big open world playground built for sonic is pretty cool! you're not raining on anyone's parade tho dw

I don’t think frontiers will be as bad as 06 cus it looks way better to control but it does look very unpolished so far

That’s nice, but I still hope that there are more interesting puzzles so I’m not missing out on anything
@@WhoIsKaiYT yeah that's fair

Thanks for the heads-up!
It looks like a fan game that’s not an insult to fan games it an insult to sonic frontiers
Posted this before the vid lol
Nah u right
@@WhoIsKaiYT I share your opinion on final fantasy as well
So....can we still get that video about what you initially thought of this game?
It would just be me complaining for 10 minutes lol
