  • The benefit of walking can come from starting with just a few steps a day and working up to what's recommended for everyone: 22 minutes a day. The American Heart Association also now supports research which shows that every hour of regular exercise can add about two hours to a person's life expectancy, even if they start it later in life.

Fitness walking and doing bodyweight exercises is a great way to get in shape and stay in shape. Walking is gentle on the body and the mind. Start walking now and you will be able to continue doing this great exercise well into your advanced years!

I started on Keto almost a month ago after hitting 240 lbs. I also started doing 5-8 miles a day of walking now. I lost 20 lbs so far.

How long did it take you to lose the 20lbs and how many days a week did you walk?

I was previously a daily runner and took up walking. I like walking, however when you run, you feel so, so, so refreshed. Walking doesn't do that for me. Plus when you run, you're able to have a very deep and restful sleep, which I find walking again doesn't do for me.
