So nice to see all of this from your perspective while you're surfing! It really helps give a more tangible idea of these notions, hope I'll be able to put some into practice asap! Great video

So stoked you find this style helpful, I agree it helps to see the line and foot position really well - and its a bunch of fun!!! Let me know how you go putting some of this to work, yewww!!!

Epic camerawork while still being focused on surfing the wave. Made it look easy

Haha it’s taken ages to get it right!! Actually super tricky having to remember to stabilise your hand and angle the wrist correctly - so many takes over the years where the footage has shown nothing 😂

Great to see your footwork and how you adjust the back foot on the hang 5. Epic footage 🤙

I love this angle for that reason! How cool does it come out! Cheers Pete!

Thanks... great useful POV and insights. Sometimes just the raw truth is better than more edited, polished videos.

So glad you say that! I love the raw edit stuff but it’s hard to know what to do in TH-cam with all the fancy editing stuff haha

Excellent video-one of your best yet! It was very helpful to see your positioning on the board. One suggestion for the edit: adding stabilization in post-production could make the footage much more enjoyable to watch, as the jitteriness was making me feel a bit dizzy while watching

Really appreciate it - stoked you enjoyed!
Ahhh yes I agree, I had added some stabilisation but only to the really unstable stuff, adding to the whole lot would probably smooth it all out a whole bunch which I honestly didn’t even think of doing but makes total sense 😅 - definitely will take this on board for upcoming edits!! Appreciate that, yewww! 🤙🙏

    Excellent content again Ben.
You mention your a physio. Currently recovering from hamstring injuries. Total self interest here but a general video on leg strengthening as relating to surfing would be class.
Perhaps content on overall fitness training. Cheers.

Thanks so much!! Super glad you liked it!
Yeah I've been thinking about dabbling with some of that content as well - just didn't know if the interest was there for anyone its a pretty surfing heavy channel haha, that's a great nudge though would love to - training and obviously being a Physio big part of my day to day that I don't really show on here - I'll have a think about how to integrate it, probably still in some fashion that can relate back to surfers which I'd love to do. Keep an eye out! haha
Also let me know if you need any friendly tips or if you wanted any more professional help there - hope you're getting on top of it they can be naggy! Good rehab will set you up well though!! Thanks for this, yewww

Much appreciated for the response Ben and hope you will seriously consider surf fittness training and injury recovery content. Even a video on your warm up routine before you paddle out would be of an interest. Again Thanks.

@@BenConsidine You should definitely consider creating videos about conditioning, stretching, and basic exercises to help surfers-especially warm-ups before sessions. Everyday folks and weekend warriors like me would really benefit! I’ve been dealing with chronic pain in my shoulders and traps, but since I started doing a 10-minute neck and shoulder yoga stretch before my sessions (usually following a TH-cam video), the pain has become much more manageable. I think a lot of surfers could benefit from something similar!

@@dashkadam3146 This is really helpful feedback thanks so much for passing it along! Definitely going to have a good think and plan for how I can integrate this into the channel, will be fun! Really glad to hear you've found something to help so far as well! Let me know if you have any questions at all 🙏🤙
