Man... I remember when Turok first came out when I was younger. Only recently with the remaster was I able to finish it. I would always miss a few keys as a kid.
I think so too, it captured the mood of the game the best. It especially suited the first level most of all, because of all the carnage that occured at Adia, but this song could have also gone on for the entire game - it was that good.

@@carloseduardoleodorodemori3224 I always got stuck at the at the cave area, always got lost and could never find the last hole to plug up until the remaster where I was finally able to beat the game lol felt super accomplished cuz that was the one game I got far in but could never beat as a kid 😅
@@hairlessmonkey86 it does get old, seeing a primates key in Port of Adia that you can't get to until you've been to the Death Marshes is a little dumb.

N64 may not have been what the gaming industry evolved to, but there were definitely some great gems in there that were innovative enough that some things stuck.
I prefer this over the PC arrangement, the pc version isn't bad per say, but this version sets a more desperate, dramatic tone, while still being heroic, while the pc version is just heroic. It fits better with the situation in this level.
Best song in the whole soundtrack imo. Also the first thing I heard from this game when it was my turn to use the N64 kiosk at the game store. To my 10 year old ears this was the most dramatic orchestra that I had ever heard from a shooty video game.
i wasnt a huge fan of the level designs on these games cause they suffered from the classic old school games of "labyrinth" level design and NO hand holding. so its very easy to spend a long time looking for the objectives in Turok 2. esp for the N64, i have it on steam but i think they made it a bit easier. but Port of Adia was ALWAYS bearable cause the music was awesome... the Lair of the Blind Ones however... fuck that place

When I was younger, I always got stuck on level 2 (river of souls) or level 3 (death marshes).

Playing this for the first time. This level took me hours
beating this game without cheats earns more respect than beating Halo on Legendary and that's saying something because I love both those games.

Yeah the farthest I ever got was lvl 5
and I would always get lost and getting there was a struggle
and in spite of that lvl 5 was my favorite
