    This is for free space scenario? what about the real case scenario where the antenna is in-ground and connected to coax cable to the reciever?

    Nice video.. But how can I calculate the half power beam width in e-plane as well as h-plane?

      Hi Meghjit Mazumder
      From the Farfield 2D Polar plot and it's calculated automatically by CST labelled angular width since you have created an Far field monitor (goto 6:00 )
      To specify which plane E or H you just need to specify the directions theta and phie.

      It's a simple matter you can do it yourself,
      Based on your design parameters you just need to add a reflector dipole (which is little taller than the driven dipole) and a director.
      To get better gain and directivity you can add multiple directors by copying-transforming and spacing them.

      Ya, but since my project was yagi antenna related, so from that experience I can say you don't need to add more directors.. 1-2 will serve your purpose..
