JUST WANTED TO GIVE YOU A GIANT THANSK FOR VIDEO, BECAUSE OF YOUR 2 VIDEOS I REMOVED MY CLUSTER, SENT OFF, AND REINSTALLED FOR LESS THAN $100. DEALER WANTED $975.00. THANKS AGAIN!!!! BOB
Watching this video gave me the courage to remove my instrument cluster. Finished a little while ago and it's on it's way to Simple Engineering for repairs!!! Thanks, Bob
Definitely DO NOT just pull the dash trim over the airbag.... remove the 3 7mm screws from the bottom of the glovebox, and then the 2 10mm bolts from the bottom of the airbag, and the whole airbag comes out in 1 piece without damaging the cover.
it removes very easily if you trim the inside lip on the dash that goes around the airbag area, i did this and it removes with ease and you can't tell when you put it back on.
Thanks for posting. I took my dash cover and instrument cluster off yesterday and your video made it a lot easier!
Glad to hear it!

That sounds like a better option, what I did was how others had told me to do.
Watched this video and the installation video as well. Thanks for posting. The video and suggestions were great and made this job really easy.
Glad it helped!

What kind of head unit is that? Does a double din fit in without cutting the dash?
It's a Pioneer 930BT, no I did not have to cut the dash. There is a video of the install on my channel. th-cam.com/video/cKEQX357fdg/w-d-xo.html
Your supposed to remove the airbag, not bend up the airbag cover and pry the dash around it.
It is done both ways, the by the book version is to remove it.
