I have been using custom ROM since last 3 years and my experience of custom ROM has been very nice, sometimes it stuck on bootloop, sometimes the ROM does not flash properly etc..., but whatever you say, custom ROMs are interesting in my case.

I have been using the custome rom from last 10 years that too from 2014 to 2024. First phone was Yu Yuphoria & Currently I have unlocked the Moto Edge 40 Neo... & Using the pixel experience. But the experience you get with the custom roms are always the best... I have learnt many things, bricked many phones, repaired myself, & get up & running as always... Just be sure that you will always get the errors & you have to explore the internet & TH-cam to resolve that... As always you must have a lot of patience.... 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Rn I'm using evolution x 8.2 with android 14 on a Poco X3 pro. I must say the rom made the phone a thousand times smoother and faster. No bloatware, no ads. Just useful things

Well most people will be stuck with miui 13 to 14 which are not good updates. Miui 14 brought issues to my device. If my phone doesn't get miui 15, I'll use custom rom

Dont ever install cr in primary device as sometimes roms get unstable because the rom cannot compiles with app updates so the apps and system ui stop sometimes, in case of emergency ull stuck, use it on secondary device
It can't be done on samsung phones with KNOX security. Even if you bypass the KNOX and install custom bootloader and run it and if you again want to go to original ONE UI with knox it will be difficult and some things like samsung pay and secure folder or in short the applications which uses knox security will be not able to use again so guys don't try to do it on samsung phones which has KNOX security

why there are very few videos on updates of custom rom? like how to do it? Can we do it from the updater provided in the settings or we've to dirty flash it everytime a new update arrive as we get updates every frequently in custom roms. If possible do make a detailed video on this topic
Good point, bro. Actually, you are right; it has been going on for ages, and there's nothing we can do about it. As websites also mention, you have to manually download and flash the package. I believe it's due to a lack of directly accessible free server storage where they can keep the update files for automatic download into the updater app. Perhaps this is the reason, considering the community donations as well.
@@RohitRajGuptaactually it depends. Roms like lineage os has provided ota support for a while now. Most people probably dirty flash but that's because people are running other stuff like magisk which would need to be flashed anyway. If your device has A/B partition, you can probably do OTA just fine and reflash magisk on the partition before rebooting but otherwise, it might temporarily mess with hiding root. That's the only reason I always dirty flashed.

You mean shutdown or simply screen off? If it's getting shutdown then you should replace the unit. Installing custom rom won't fix the issue because it could be a hardware issue.
