    This is perfect. Had the dreaded steering wheel wobble yesterday. Time to do a front suspension overhaul.

May want to adjust your volume settings or something. Scared the crap outa me.

    Is easy to do a straight alignment at home you need two steel plates that need to be bolted down at each side on the front passanger and driver side rotors just google it two tape measure and download for free or paid the complete service manual for repairs that tells you all about the 6 gen honda accord from 98-2002 years the book is 2520 pages everything is in there torque specs electric diagrams for all parts is a long as book but is worth to take the time and read through . Most importantly it tells you te specs for the alignment the book for all sides front and back. I hope this helps.

    Hey thanks i got a question hopefully you can help I want to do the same over haul but I’ve only got 110k on mine got it from second owner at 80k an all suspension is oem, should I just replace suspension to prevent anything from breaking on the road? I’ve Hurd most suspension components need to be replaced around 100k thanks any unit would help

    • @HoustonSpeedFreaks
      @HoustonSpeedFreaks  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes and no if it’s not broke don’t fix it, the mileage isn’t a super big thing it’s the age of the bushings got think these cares are over 20 years old now that’s a lot of time for the rubber to dry out and crack.

    I dnt like all the plastics underneath my Honda is it ok to take it all out without replacing ??

    • @HoustonSpeedFreaks
      @HoustonSpeedFreaks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah it won’t mess with anything just splash shields that keep dirt and debris fork getting in the engine bay so as long as you don’t travel down a bunch of dirt roads or rocky roads you should be fine

    I got the same exact kit off of amazon and tbh it’s shittt. The ball joint in my driver side control arm I’m actually replacing again right now as we speak. Mind you I just put the control arm on 3 months ago and that includes one of them months with the car not even being drivien at all. I’m mad as shit. And all the boots on all them parts are junk they tare so god damn Easy. Best of luck to ya tho. Hopefully they work out better for you then they did me.

    • @HoustonSpeedFreaks
      @HoustonSpeedFreaks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I sold the car so it's in someone else's hands I got everything installed without ripping any boots at all though. But of course you pay for what you get 🤷

      Thanks man I sold the car so I got some use out of it 🤷 plus those suspension parts come with a 10 year warranty from the manufacturer so if anything were to go wrong or out just replace it again 🤷

    Hey does anyone have any idea what a good price would be for just the labor for installing a kit like this ??? Much appreciated.

    • @HoustonSpeedFreaks
      @HoustonSpeedFreaks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would assume a shop would be at like 50+ an hour plus an alignment at the end just depends on what they quote for the whole job to last

    • @HoustonSpeedFreaks
      @HoustonSpeedFreaks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's actually from a 5th gen prelude it's a value sport rep lip and even the reps are discontinued and hard to find I pissed off a few prelude guys doing this as I had to cut and trim it a bit to make it fit😂
