Raya's _"error"_ reminded me of when we were 2-0 up away to Liverpool and that spat between Xhaka and Alexander-Arnold got the Liverpool fans fired up, which in turn fired Liverpool up.
We blew it then and I feared the worse today.
Luckily, we managed to hold on. But just.
OK! So we were 3-0 at half time. But we were playing so, so badly. We kept giving the ball away far to often. I honestly thought that we'd come out a lot better in the 2nd half and even though we were slightly _better...ish,_ this has to go down as a very poor performance from the Gunners. Possibly the worst I've seen us play this season.
But we still got three points and before Raya's huge error, Spurs didn't really look that threatening. But how a goal out of the blue changes a game!

We should add Gabby Martinelli as a backup striker
He's not good leading the line - let him get better out wide left.
Martinelli loves to run and dribble but does not have the instincts and sharpness of a striker. Nor does Kai (yet). Not in the class of Giroud who could ‘impossible’ goals on a regular basis. Kai has missed many chances that a top striker like BENZEMA would not. And Arsenal needs to get the very best - not necessarily the most expensive (e.g. Leverkeusen).
We need an elite striker & a good back up. Gabriel Jesus is injury prone & possibly needs surgery in the off season, Eddie's probably off - we need quality. A season is long & intense.
