+Grell Sutcliff no they are not .The gypsies mostly don't like Romanians and Romanians don't like gypsies .They are an official minority and even speak a language of their own (and also Romanian )
+Killer Pinguin He is in a Roma village but they keep using the term 'gypsy' to describe the village which is not only confusing to viewers who have no idea about any of this (as is evident by the comments to this video) but also confuses people who now probably assume 'gypsy' is a term for Romanians.
I was going to buy a new pair of shoes today but I realized that I rather much rather give that money towards this amazing charity. They need it more than I do!
+steph g This village makes me think of Swedish people, 5 swedes from 1950 with an axe can build a strong warm home using mountain logs in 2 weeks which can last 100 years. check america, they have swedish built homes from 1890 with logs that have been covered with lime which look like normal homes and the joint work of the logs is tight.
omg I am from Romania! had no idea you were here.hope you'll have the time to properly visit our country one day,i promise you there's beautiful things to see around here
mm dont think so,the name of the village he mentioned is Romanian.plus,he said something about going to Sighisoara the next morning, and that's in Romania as well not in France.I even saw some adverts on a wall, and they were in Romanian
Louis I am builder from England. I would love to volunteer for a project like this in Romania/Africa etc to help build homes/schools. Can you give me any tips for point me in the best direction?
+MGA99MASTER why do you say that, how is it fair to generalize all of these people and not validate that these people and chidlren suffer from poverty, instead of calling them beggars and thiefs?
+Jay Wilkinson You do exactly what your heart desire's, it is up to you how you spend your time and life no one has the right to tell you otherwise!! Good on you for wanting to Help change the World, you have to start somewhere so why not there.. Good Luck..
+Jay Wilkinson Honestly you have good intentions in wanting to 'help' the less fortunate, but you would be taking jobs away from local people, I'm sure there are plenty of builders in Romania, they just need money and empowerment to be able to complete builds and earn an income. I feel like they don't need more western people coming in and taking that income away...
ROMANIAN KIDS ATTACK??? NO! Gypsies are not Romanian anymore than the English are Mexicans. Almost all the crime in Romania is caused by them so please do not bundle us together. I as a Romanian experience enough discrimination from the English because of that fact so it does matter to me!!!. I do however respect what you do, helping the needy is always admirable, best of luck to you!
gypsies are gypsies, stop destroying their identity, that's why they can't be helped because people like you keep calling them spanish, romanian, bulgarian or whatever other european ethnicity...
Thank you Louis, Raya, Kate, Mike, Tim and team, for taking time and doing such amazing work abroad. It is amazing what we, as viewers, and collective family can accomplish when we ban together. Donation has been made! Cheers!
+Stig “SB” Buvarp dude the conditions here are not that bad..I'm from Romania..those people are gypsies and they don't have much because they don't work for different reasons. So please don't say that.
+Stig “SB” Buvarp as Louis said in the end of his video..The conditions are not at all like this in all of Romania. This is a gypsi village. You should do a little bit of research about Romania and also about gypsi people...I'm a romanian and I know good exemples of gypsi people and bad exemples..but most of them are bad..because everytime you try and help them..they will end up where they started..."stealing and begging because it's simple that way, they do not like to work..so the go and beg for money all over Europe.. "sorry for my mistakes in english'
As I said, they are still Romanian and their conditions are bad, and please stop being racist they don`t choose to live like that, and if they could work I`m sure they would!
I'm so glad you came to Romania, and actually to help some of the people who really need. You will love Sighisoara, and the architecture of the city. Next time come to Cluj, you have viewers here too :)
I`m not telling that these people are bad, but you could help a lot more people who will do something with your help, and will do something with their life, these people are going to be the same. They won`t stop begging and stealing, and their children won`r be taught how to evolve, they are going to be as uneducated as the past generations.
Regardless of who exactly these people are or where they came from or what they speak-they are humans. They have emotions, needs, tragedies, fun times, and they have youth to look after. I know some Romanians find this offensive and I'm aware that even other people of different nationalities find this offensive because they have "experienced" these gypsies before, but honestly, these people are people. Have compassion. I hope one day this world isn't so much about its mapped borders but about unification. Giving is the ONLY way to receive. Be able to see through different perspectives, believe in change, and encourage happiness. I love that Louis documents his adventures because many people won't ever be able to or even have the courage to go to some of these places and see these different ways of life. Again, giving is the only way to receive.
+Ayse Yilmaz You said it all for me as well...And that Mike whom I thought is only goofing around with Louis on his vlog, boy was I wrong, he helped building that house. Hat off to you Mike...My heart goes out to all the villagers in that unknown place of the globe until Louis took all of us there via his vlogs.
***** I don`t suspect them, i see it every day. I go to school by train, and every time a have to wait in the station I`m scared, like really really scared, there are 10 to 20 gypsies 24/7 and they wait for you to say something that offends them so that they can yell at you or something, one time I was waiting for the train, and one child, a gypsie one came and asked me for money, he said he needs it for bread, and he was like 7-8 and he was so so beautiful, and i gave him money for bread, thats like 1 euro or someting, and then he left, after a few minutes he was standing in the back of the chair that i was staying and he freaking pulled my hair, i had a braid and he just pulled it as hard as he could, I stood up and wanted to yell at him and there was his bigger brother and he was watching me, he was pushing me to say something so he could come and fight with me. Then, I saw the little child getting out from a shop, with a ciggarete in hand, and he freaking flipped me of. So no I have little to no mercy for them, you cannot tell me to have mercy when I am afraid to be by myself in the middle of the day, And you don`t know how it is to be judged because of someone who hates romanians. If you find some romanian who can say only good things about gypsies, I`m gonna be surprised!
Hey I'm from Switzerland I work in my country for my study, your videos can make my feel closer to the rest of the world see what's is the life in different country, the good or the bad. Every day I look your new video and with that I can improve my English (sometimes you are speaking so fast that I can't understand ) but anyway It's a real pleasure to see your adventures every day and all the good things you're doing. So Louis Thank's for make me travelling every day and many kisses from Switzerland
Good to see you helping this people. I absolutely love Romania and if you have the chance, try to visit the mountains around Sibiu and Brasov. Especially Sibiu's old town is so pretty! Would be nice to show people the other side of Romania and to let people know Romania has a lot of beauty 😀
+Ralucamonsta He is in a Roma village, not a village full of Romanian people. Thus him and the other man in charge of building referring to the community as a 'gypsy' community (instead of saying a Romanian community). Using the term gypsy as a stand-in for Roma people(s) is generally considered derogatory based on the awful etymology of the term gypsy.
+Ralucamonsta The kiddos in the video ARE gypsies though...I'm pretty sure Louis knows that Romanians aren't gypsies, but gypsies CAN have Romanian nationality.
I am from Romania! Now i realized that you are in Romania, when you said "Sighisoara". Sighisoara is a beautiful place, i went there. Hope you enjoy your time in Romania! ❤️
When Tim said the story about the parents disappearing to Hungary and left the 4 kids behind made me wipe a tear :( So glad Louis and the team are helping out there x
Thank you for doing what our government has failed to for the past 26 years and by this I mean raising funds and awareness when it comes to situations like these. It's rather sad to see though that foreigners are more willing to help than our brethren, yet I do get it given the obnoxiously self-centered and judgmental attitude our people possess. I do appreciate all the help that comes from kind and generous persons like you, individuals that realize that there's something more to life than buying all the expensive clothes and cars but you see, this is the main issue over here: Romanians will NEVER and I repeat, NEVER have that kind of mindset. Not now, not in one hundred years and this is why I believe that, in the end, all efforts are hopeless. The rich are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer.
What a change since the last time you were there. New houses mean better lives for them :D Vlad the Impaler Dracul's castle eh? That place and the forest near to it are some of the most haunted places in Romania. You're entering Transylvania :) So intriguing now for the Halloween season :D
Felt sorry for the kid at 12.04 :-( you could tell he had had an amazing day and was so frustrated he couldn't go with you. Great Vlog! wish I was there, would have made a lovely lunch for everyone xx
I wish I would have watched you since back when you first came to Romania! and ugh god i wish i could meet you! i hope you have a great time here in my country!
Thanks for addressing that Romania isnt all like that. Sigisoara is very nice, but you should visit more of Romania to get an accurate portrayal. Every country has its poverty regions. Bucharest is a very big, thriving city. You should go spend more time in RO, Louis! It has beautiful mountains (carpathians), and a beautify sea side (black sea). Cant wait for you to show us sigisoara! Its a beautiful city. Been there many times.
People please donate money to help build this house that really does need repairing! Only £20 has been given come on guys we only need enough money to go out and build that house. I've donated and you guys have to aswell
I'm from Hungary, and it was a very weird, but cool feeling to hear someone speak Hungarian in one of Louis's video, even though they are in Romania :)
Well done to those who have donated money already. I have visited Romania numerous times and seen how little help the government gives to the Roma people.
thank you for gathering the money to help that family! and not saying this just because I am Romanian. If each individual would try to help out a person in need , we would have a better world to live in for everyone, covering the basics. And it's good to show it as example, because a lot of people would like to help out but don't know where to head. From my personal experience, just pick a person/cause/organization and help them out from time to time, you might not change the world, but you are changing the world of that person. One example that I like to spread around : on your birthday, instead of getting gifts, which mostly always are not exactly what you want, how about asking your friends to gather money, and you donate them to a cause?
Even though that is not representative form all romania there are still these Parts lacking the basics of human needs. And People like louis who are going there raising awerness among there followers and raise money for a good cause are really making a difference and maybe you guys are just the pioneers and that is going to be the next big thing. Thank you for making the world a slightly better place!
I was also in romania, in the last month. You are right, I see ist also, that there is a huge difference between this land and USA or spain or germany. Poor people live there, thats very sad. I hope you, we can help at some point, to make the life for the villager better👍
wow amazing! but u should see the rest of my lovely romania! it s a delightful country, only 1/3 are villages, in rest there are big beautiful cities :) just saying
Louis this is cool! I am glad to see that part of my home country trough your experience, I will like to extend an invitation to you to come back in the summer and visit Brasov county and the King mountain (Piatra Craiului) I live in US but I go back home every summer, so if you want to experience something different let me know. You are welcome to our place in US too, I am in St. Petersburg, Florida if you ever come this way let me know. Keep up the good adventure and the plant based life style. Victor
Dude, don't minde me but romanian kids are not gipsy kids.Gipsyes are abother population.
Romanian People are not Gipsyes.
If they live in Romania and if they have been born in Romania then they're Romania - deal with it.
+Grell Sutcliff but they are not from Romania , they imigrated a long time ago ...
CotroAdrian they migrated to the Balkans way before Romania was founded what's your argument?
I was going to buy a new pair of shoes today but I realized that I rather much rather give that money towards this amazing charity. They need it more than I do!
nice!

I cannot believe that poor man has to sleep on that beaten up old mattress. Heartbreaking :(
+CookingwithKarma wouldn't even consider that a mattress to be honest. Really feel bad for the guy.
this kids aren't romanian
omg I am from Romania! had no idea you were here.hope you'll have the time to properly visit our country one day,i promise you there's beautiful things to see around here
+Diana Sim he's not in Romania, he's in France in a gypsy village
idk where he is at this exact moment,i was talking about the time he made this video
yeah, he's in France in the video
mm dont think so,the name of the village he mentioned is Romanian.plus,he said something about going to Sighisoara the next morning, and that's in Romania as well not in France.I even saw some adverts on a wall, and they were in Romanian
He is in Romania, he said at the end of the video.
Your camera quality is insane!!! Think it's time for an upgrade
+Flying The Nest He will probably leave it on a plane again soon...
Louis I am builder from England. I would love to volunteer for a project like this in Romania/Africa etc to help build homes/schools. Can you give me any tips for point me in the best direction?
Charity called international homes.
+MGA99MASTER why do you say that, how is it fair to generalize all of these people and not validate that these people and chidlren suffer from poverty, instead of calling them beggars and thiefs?
MGA99MASTER of course it does, ive never been there but i have seen racism and it is clear in your opinions

gypsies are gypsies, stop destroying their identity, that's why they can't be helped because people like you keep calling them spanish, romanian, bulgarian or whatever other european ethnicity...
So they do not have Romanian citizenship? They are Romanian and you need to take care of your own citizens, whether they are Roma or not.
hahaha at 6:45 he sounds like he is rapping over the beat! cracked me up. LMAO.
Thank you Louis, Raya, Kate, Mike, Tim and team, for taking time and doing such amazing work abroad. It is amazing what we, as viewers, and collective family can accomplish when we ban together. Donation has been made! Cheers!
lmao that kid at 5:27 flipping off the 360 cam. what a sav
I love that you take us to these places and help to raise awareness of people's needs all over the world!
This was really an eye opener I didm`t know that the conditions in Romania was so bad!
It`s nice to see someone helping them!
+Stig “SB” Buvarp dude the conditions here are not that bad..I'm from Romania..those people are gypsies and they don't have much because they don't work for different reasons. So please don't say that.

I'm in love with the clips of you guys playing with the children!!! 😍💕❤️💕❤️💕
Louis, these vlogs are amazing and they make me so happy, the kids all looked so so happy
Do you have a spotify account for the songs you use in your videos? I love the super chill music you use, perfect for studying! :)
I'll be donating Louis! I hope and pray we can help these children so they can keep warm thru wintertime.

Nice work bro I need to help
Ahhh you used my intro!

WOW !! the little moments you had with those children were so beautiful
Louis, I love seeing you get involved with volunteer work during your travels :)
freaking amazing video louis!! such a great thing you are doing! you are truly an amazing person and offer so much inspiration to those who follow you
You should visit Cluj-Napoca. It is the heart of Transylvania and one of the most beautiful towns in Romania.
Omg! Rustin's intro!!
Wonder if Louis googled him. 👀
next ..... The real Romania
+Vivi K not really fake romania , but in romania is not all about this ... there is a lot of poverty here , but not all romania is like that ..
look how happy those kids are and they have nothing but eachother...real eye opener :(
I am always so jealous you get to travel to the coolest places! Romania looks funnnn
Love you Louis but gypsy is a derogatory term for the Roma people. Just enlightening :).
Gypsy is a pilot term
+Vivienne Gucwa (travelinglens) We are not Roma people..We are Romanians
+Ralucamonsta He is in a Roma village, not a village full of Romanian people. Thus him and the other man in charge of building referring to the community as a 'gypsy' community (instead of saying a Romanian community). Using the term gypsy as a stand-in for Roma people(s) is generally considered derogatory based on the awful etymology of the term gypsy.
+Ralucamonsta The kiddos in the video ARE gypsies though...I'm pretty sure Louis knows that Romanians aren't gypsies, but gypsies CAN have Romanian nationality.
+Vivienne Gucwa (travelinglens) It is NOT a derogatory term. Many gypsies WANT to be called gypsies or tzigani.
It's so amazing to see you in Romania! All my family from my dads side is from Romania and I want to visit once I get older
Met you tonight in town! Sorry if we bothered you, thank you for stopping , it meant so much xxx
Oh my gosh j can't wait to see tomorrow's!!
I went to visit Dracula's castles last year while I was serving in Romania!
Super cool!
Who just gets good vibes cuz of this vid so chill
It's so heart-warming how happy those kids look even though they don't have half as much as ordinary children
Has anyone else noticed Louis' 'talking to animals' voice? Makes me laugh everytime!
Also, I'll be donating :) xx
Felt sorry for the kid at 12.04 :-( you could tell he had had an amazing day and was so frustrated he couldn't go with you. Great Vlog! wish I was there, would have made a lovely lunch for everyone xx
I wish I would have watched you since back when you first came to Romania! and ugh god i wish i could meet you! i hope you have a great time here in my country!
Good to hear you come to Hungary! i hope you going to have a great time here!
Pause at 8:25 ... What a handsome young man. Quite the story in his eyes. Thank you Louie for sharing this with us...
The world needs more people like you, Louis.
Wow. Louis smile is brighter than Brendan Rodgers's future at Liverpool
Is it just me or at 5:28 is the wee boy holding up the middle finger at the 360 camera 😂
The part with the bubbles felt so magical 😍

Your videos never fail to make me smile
Those poor children :( I wish they had better people to teach them , so they could grow up successfully and help their village
Romania looks beautiful, love the video Louis!
I'm Romanian and I'm not a gypsy not every Romanian is a gypsy, like only 20% of people in Romania or so are gypsy...
Next time you visit Romania you should visit Sardu and spend some time with those at Casa Speranti and see/help out with their work in the community
People please donate money to help build this house that really does need repairing! Only £20 has been given come on guys we only need enough money to go out and build that house. I've donated and you guys have to aswell
There's over 1 million of you guys so please donate
I'm from Hungary, and it was a very weird, but cool feeling to hear someone speak Hungarian in one of Louis's video, even though they are in Romania :)
It's crazy how different people life's are an how we take everything for granted
I just discovered this channel and I know what I want to do when I'm done with school🙃
The castle is nice and it's intresting to see!! It's so nice what are you doing!! 😊
Oh my god!!! You've been to Transylvania!!! Have you visited Cluj???
Just donated :) I hope they get enough money to build a new house! xx
You are amazing Louis! I can learn from you every day!
Oh my god! Will you make a meet up? Pleaaase!!
Well done to those who have donated money already. I have visited Romania numerous times and seen how little help the government gives to the Roma people.
Cool video, watch your videos every night, thank you for making my day everyday.
Wow Louis! I love your vlogs so much! Keep up the good work!
thank you for gathering the money to help that family! and not saying this just because I am Romanian. Louis! Maybe next time you could come to the Philippines? We need help too! And I promise our kids are MUCH nicer!
Great I donated 40 dollars. All of my money.I am really happy to help!
At 6:45, the guy's talking goes along with the music like a rap hahahahahahah
I could hang out with those amazing kids all day.
I'm going to Romania in a few days! I'm buzzing, literally can't wait to visit the orphanages and nursing homes
Even though that is not representative form all romania there are still these Parts lacking the basics of human needs. are you planning on coming back to Romania? If so ,when?
Some great work, lots of kids, some geese and sheep, and dog that could well be the cutest puppy in the world. :-)
Sighișoara is one of my favourite towns in Romania. Very beautiful!
how do you get involved with stuff like this, do you have to be knowledgeable of house building or can u learn on the job?
That guy who was on his break with a kitten and playing with the kids was adorable ^_^
I was also in romania, in the last month. You are right, I see ist also, that there is a huge difference between this land and USA or spain or germany. Poor people live there, thats very sad. I hope you, we can help at some point, to make the life for the villager better👍

Congrats everybody who donated!!! $4,000 raised already!
I am going to rewatch this vlog as I have to get ready for work so I can donate for Louis fund raising ;-)
why do you guys visit only those parts of Romania? 😞
The target is reached 😃😃 how amazing. Louis the influence you have is outstanding 🌏🌏
Dang guys! First day the vlog is up we already raised enough money for that house!!!
It seems to me that what they really need is condoms, so my suggestion would be to use these donations to buy a 20ft container filled up with Durex's
The guy from the intro looks like the guy from BuzzFeed!!!!!!

Victor
