My step-dad dumped his Polaris as well. Got rid of it. It spent as much time in the shop as it did on the trails. He only had 1800 miles on it... countless warranty repairs and headaches. He bought an RMAX 1000 and he loves it! He's got 1500 miles on his 2021 RMAX without a single hiccup! I ordered one myself. Waiting for delivery!

I have always thought for the cost these machines should have a better warranty. I agree Polaris should have covered say the parts and you paid the labor. Yours is not an abused mud machine

Hey brother…hard to get all my thoughts into a small post on TH-cam. I’m not talking smack….but….sell that thing as fast as possible. Either buy another one under extended warranty or go buy a Honda Talon. We have a huge camp at Glamis and Polaris and Can Ams have serious issues. My YXZ was absolutely perfect for 5000 miles. Polaris quality is just not up to par. Sell it now before you dump thousands into it or you have motor problems. Trust me.
I mean, really the machine had been out of the regular warranty for 3 months. The only reason you had warranty was because they gave you an extra 3 months after the recall. Did you enjoy the machine besides this issue?
That's regardless of the point our warranty is a warranty doesn't matter how long the warranty is A week out of warranty and you only have $700 and some out of miles on a machine That's as clean as this one and you don't cover an issue that's known to be common That's terrible customer service. You're certainly free to disagree with me but that's my opinion. I think Polaris has got to the point they just don't care anymore. Besides this issue there were some things that was starting to bother me about the machine for the amount of money I spent on it. If I didn't have this issue I'd probably still would have sold the machine and I would likely not buy another one.
@@OdysseyOffroad I think this is a solid lesson in buying the extended warranty and sell before it goes out. I’m looking at other options myself. Have a deposit on a 22 xp pro sport, but not real sure if I want the possible headache.
@@hurt1704 you are 💯 correct. Buy the warranty if you get a polaris! Even with that the amount of time it could possibly be in the shop is what would keep me away from buying another one instead of being out enjoying it it's been in the shop twice once for a recall for the turbo And then for this, the failed front differential. Not to mention the recall that they did on it before I purchased it for the primary clutches exploding lol
@@OdysseyOffroad I have considered can am, but I live in the Midwest in Missouri and our trails are a lot tighter here and the rzr is really the best out of the two for this terrain with the locker in the front vs the visco qe or whatever can am has now. What do you think is the most capable best option out for tighter trails?
@@hurt1704 honestly why don't you look at a two-seater rmax? Also Can-Am you can get a front locker if you get the Smart Lock differential which would come on the XRC models You can get a Can-Am Maverick Sport XRC or XXC it's 64-in wide and comes with the Smart Lock front differential That's something I would look into or the rmax

One week out of warranty and Kawasaki would of taken care of it no problem. We will be reviewing our Pro so we will see how it holds up. -Garrett

i mean i planned on keeping it but the whole situation really turned me of tbh. i bought 5 brand new polaris vehs over the years, never again.
