    This is perfect. My son and I went to look for trout fishing in the McKenzie and it was high and brown. We just left. Now, I know what I take out there. Thank you for sharing and thank you for repping Jesus.

    I live on the Quillayute river and plunking is the only way to go for most of the winter because of all the dam rain here in Forks. All your methods shown in the video are great. Best thing about plunking is sitting back with a fire and a beer waiting to hear that bell ring. Along with a good bell I sometimes tie a piece bright orange yarn to the rod tip for a visual strike indicator.

    My first steelhead was caught while plunking for Pinks, had to let it go, but was cool.

    no bait equals better action on the spin n glo...but in muddy water bait sure helps

    Be wary of cheap spreaders. I recommend making your own. I've seen the ones displayed in this video break off on a fish. True story.

      Yes definitely that is always something to keep in mind. I've never had an issue using them, but can see the potential risk

    What model is that The OG Lami’ partner ??? 🤣🤓🧐That’s my question ! Haha, never gone plunking in all my years fishing since being a kiddo. Now being almost in my mid 30’s. Fishing all over the western side of the the state. But, it has perked a new possible interest watching this video. 😏🤙🏿Thanks again for your time & information. Be in touch on sending ya some hardware to try out. Merry Christmas buddy. Ho Ho Ho. Hope St. Nick brings ya some New Years Steelie Action !!!
    💪🏿🐟🤘🏿🎣🎅🏿

    Are you supposed to use multiple spin n glows on two or three leaders or just one?

    • @HolyMolyOutdoors
      @HolyMolyOutdoors  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You always could but you will want to have beads in between for a bearing. I always run 1 spin n glow and have two 6mm beads below and one above

    I am tiny bit confuse.... When you add 5 oz or even 8oz weight how can you cast it with the rods you use ( only till 2 oz)?

    • @HolyMolyOutdoors
      @HolyMolyOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rods can handle more weight than what the rating is for. You are essentially lob casting and not fully loading the rod as you would with a normal lure.

      @@HolyMolyOutdoors thx, I got your point but you load your rod 4 times more which you can do I am really surprised....
