This is an amazing agitator, far better the the dual action corkscrew type.

For the belt drives I agree. Direct drives however I prefer the dual action (generally)

One of the best agitators ever designed and my favorite of all the Whirlpool/Kenmore machines. The old bakelite straight vanes were also cool.
