Juan Gabriel had a really hard upbringing. Many of his songs are true raw emotions of his life made into beautiful songs. There was a lot of turmoil in his childhood. He came from a broken home and had a lot of heart ache due to personal problems with his mother who left him in an orphanage at the age of four but still forgave her as he matured and always maintained love for her in his heart. He struggled to make his name in show business. He sacrificed a lot of blood, sweat and tears to become the man he was and for that I really admire him to this day. He will always be One of my favorite artists. Thank you both for this wonderful reaction to this beautiful song.

I used to take my parents tohis shows , just being a good son since they are in their late 70's because my mom loved him since the early 1980's. Little did i know that i would fall in love with this man's shows. We went as a family to his last show, three weeks before his passing. I will never forget my moms face during the entirety of his show.
