No he's not. He's actually very derogatory towards lesbians. Katya is even worse. Since when is it OK for him to use the word dyke? Katya literally screams it angrily a few times on uhnnnn. They are using the lesbians for $$

I’m not familiar with MUNA but this is 100% how lesbian dates go, pop culture, anticapitalism, therapy talk, sharing trauma experiences, discussion of future themes to try out…
What an enlightening podcast! I'm a 62 year old lesbian living in rural upstate NY, and rarely get to interact with younger queer people. I loved hearing everyones' perspectives on such a wide range of topics. Rock on young ones; it's your turn to carry the ball, and based on what I heard today, the future is full of promise. Oh, and I did jot down the names of the books you discussed. TY! 💜
Hey! Im a youngish queer (30) and i don’t drink so finding queer environments is hard for me too but if you’re a reader there’s an app called bookclubs that i’ve found a few queer bookclubs near me that meet virtually AND in person and ive met so many cool people of all ages that way ❤
@@sherriwineland7247 you should check out alice miller, 'the drama of the gifted child' and 'the body never lies' so instead of reading a white male you read it written (better) by a black woman!
AS A FEMME LESBIAN WHO'S BEEN A FAN OF TRIXIE AND MUNA EVER SINCE I AM SHITTING MY PANTS RN !!! + trixie mentioning that having femme girls as fans is not the sane as having straight girls as fans SHES SO REAL FOR THIS
“my other side is like ‘are the house wives and the vanderpumps keeping us from overthrowing the american government’” is a thought i’ve had every night before bed thank you
Now that Chappell’s name has been summoned, you obviously must have her on this podcast immediately. ASAP. STAT. We deserve it. The world deserves it. The world *needs* it!
"if you've made it to this point in the program you're either very sad, very gay, or both" sis I was just chilling, why'd you have to perceive me like that :") seriously though, it's interesting and comfortable to listen to you all, thank you for- idk it's weird to say thank you for your honesty? because you are still performing in a way. it's refreshing tho and I do get the sense you're trying to be candid about things so, yeah, thanks. :)
I have never been so invested, felt seen, or sent into an existential crisis after watching/listening to a podcast as I was after watching this. Two worlds colliding with Trixie and MUNA. All the love for this. Please have Trixie on again. Also, we need MUNA on an ep of Bald and Beautiful, K? 💖
Love the Jack Halberstam plug! I attended one of his public lectures where he gave a deep dive on the Lego movie…. His use of accessible pop culture to discuss theories of queerness, transness, capitalism, and how certain possibilities are compelled forward or closed off changed everything for me
This was great! First time coming across this channel and Muna. I paused the episode to take a listen to Munas music. I'm a gay male and I have been going through quite a bit recently, I have to share that once again Gay magic has saved my life and soul. The song What I want, in particular has reminded me of something I needed to overcome this part of what I am going through. Gay magic has ALWAYS saved me. I am so grateful ❤ thank you. I feel strong again. I feel my strength again. Thank you. I send you all as much good magic and as much love and light as I can conjure. Thank you!❤
As a gay male, it’s difficult for me to understand why these three women in particular make me question what I thought was uncompromising home-essentiality . Am I crazy or is it giving smoke show ? Side note: so happy to see Muna & Trixie together 😭
i love how clearly articulate and well read they all are while still being so relatable and funny!! this conversation is so affirming on so many levels but also this podcast in general because i love muna omggg. gayotic is just like hanging out with your smart friends and goofing around while also having deep conversations about yourself and the world. loveee
so happy you guys had a nuanced conversation about identity with trixie... been wanting to know how she feels about it but most interviewers only ask the most reductive questions if at all :) related to everything said as a fellow mixed person :) great convo, thanks!

Trixie bringing up Chappell on a MUNA podcast is quite literally my multiverse of madness
time stamp please i think i missed it
@@xx_pauli_xx4086 not sure if they mention her another time but i heard it at 1:01:03
@@wogannnnthank you pookie I completely missed it 💔🤍
WHAT.
Chappell Roan gayotic episode is not a want it’s a need
at the end of the day trixie is just a lesbian

That’s why we’re here. 🤷♀️🤣
HAHAHA
she really is one of us
katie sitting on the couch staring at trixie like drew barrymore
exactly what I was thinking
Was she flirting with? 😂
@@Eve-hb yes definitely

this was engineered in a lab for me specifically
RIGHT?!?
love trixie acknowledging that having femme girls as fans does not equal having straight girl fans

trixie getting a taste of her own medicine being interrupted every 3 seconds lmao
trixie having a HUGE lesbian fanbase and guesting in GAYOTIC is my kind of roman empire
trixie explaining "mary" to them was so cute
Trixie describing UNhhhh as Beavis and Butthead is so accurate and I never realized.

when was the last time a youtube comment made me cry this hard
Im a sad gay and I was like “exactly! that’s what I’m saying!!” so many times and then trixie clocked me 😭
I’m impressed that Trixie went a whole hour and ten minutes before mentioning Watchmen. 🏆
oh they KNOW their audience

i would’ve listened to 7 hours of this please bring trixie back sometime
This is a big moment for Trisha Martel, but this is a huge moment for Muna.
MUNA not knowing the Donnas is crazy haha
My schools library had a whiteboard where people could put women who inspired them for women history month and some one put Trixie
Honestly that’s so iconic
a big win for the lesbians
So nice of these lesbians giving platform to another rising small town lesbian creator from Wisconsin. I love Tracy Martel 💅
it took 7mins and 20 seconds for trixie to mention katya 😊😊😊
not trixie reading “the body keeps the score” 💀
