As if I couldn't love Trixie anymore, I love how the question about being rich was answered. Especially the part about her mom needing a knee replacement and her sister's car. 😭
A thousand percent this. She was soooo spot on about criticism, her approach with humor, that it’s all borrowed time, supporting family… She put real self-reflection, honesty we didn’t earn from her, and thought into that. 💖
I love how she says "I'm not gonna say who, but her out-of-drag name is Fred" when we all saw her and Liv Lux discuss this on the Pit Stop. We love a diplomatic queen. Edit: it was with Jan about Lux, Lux was not there. My bad!
7:05 I just want to say THANK YOU Trixie for saying this - a lot of us Indigenous people grow up “white” or “poor” and it’s usually not until we’re older that we can finally attribute our struggles growing up to what actually was Indigenous (intergenerational) trauma. Sometimes it’s also hard to embrace that we actually are Indigenous once we become an adult after we grew up not fully embracing those identities our whole lives, and we have to kind of grapple with the struggles of our childhoods all over again in a different way. Idk I just wanted to say it always validates me to hear you embrace your Ojibway heritage publicly in your videos and makes me happy to know we’re seen and you’re not afraid to shy away from it, so chi-miigwetch 💖
Also I wanna add that you’re not saying it in a complain-y way - the only people who think it’s complaining are people who can say that to you from a position of privilege. (Obviously trixie isn’t gonna get around to reading this lol but to the people who pass by the comment thanks for reading ✨)
Beleive it or not everyone struggles... the problem is there are so few humble enough to "attribute" it to our own choices. Nothing ancestral about it honestly.
I’m obsessed with how matchy everything is in this video. Everything is the perfect shade of pink. None of the pinks clash, but they also don’t blend into each other. The vertical lines in the hair match the vertical lines in the curtain background. Even the eyeshadow shape matches the Trixie heart and the heart earrings.
I comment anywhere I can just how truly beautiful trixie motel is. When she said people cry when they walk in and when they leave it’s so true. I went I think 3 weeks after it opened and it’s a core memory for me. Not only is it stunning the people who go there are. I stayed up so late hanging out with people I just met like we had all been best friends for years. You really made a paradise trixie!!
Trixie being so real, and vulnerable about money, about being poor and now have another reality, about being able to help her love ones. JIsh! Girl, you're one of a kind!
I remember I was working Boise Pride and was watching Trixie do soundcheck, and the way she bolted to the dip n dots stand, swiftly saying hi to me as she walked past. Honestly what I expected 100%, from what I know everyone at Boise Pride who worked with Trixie loved her.
I think Trixie is very comfortable in her skin these days. Same true for Brian. Comfy with who they both are, not needing to put on any pretenses. Success couldn't happen to a more deserving artist. Or a harder working one. I worry about her overextending herself physically/mentally but she actually seems to be thriving. So I should myob. I respect her on so many levels. 💖

I hope the random person who commented "the pink one so terrify" realizes what a genius they are because no other human could describe Trixie so well in 5 words. We adore our succinct icon 💗
Im so silly but i got choked up when she talked about helping her family. Trixie is the same age as my sons, and though he doesn't make her kind of money, my oldest is an electrician in Atlanta and he and his wife are doing well. He always insists on helping me pay for things and my other son helps care for me since I'm disabled (ironically a failed knee replacement). It makes me uncomfortable because that's my job, but at the same time how blessed am I to have sons who love and care for me like Trixie cares for her mom?! ❤
honestly hearing trixie list all her business ventures is so crazy!! like i knew she's doing all these things but still amazed hearing it all together (drag race ambassador, youtuber, TV star, musician, makeup business owner, motel owner, bar owner, DJ, author). i love that she's been so successful post drag race. she does it all❤
12:00 omg YES its so difficult talking about money when you've lived both lives. I refer to it as living a separate universe life I am half Navajo, grew up on the rez and now I live in a 4 bedroom comfortably, same mentality with the gifts and with splurging. also your editor goes hard, i love all these additional quips
The thing I also love about Jaymes, and Trixie for that matter, is the knowledge they have about culture and history. I love when Jaymes tells stories, I always learn something
My take of why Trixie is so famous and relatable is a mix between a make up signature, a self depreciating humor, a sense of self awarness, a crazy work ethic and the ability to make us feel that nothing is too serious
I've met you before after your show in St.Louis and you are nice. Quiet doesn't always mean someone is mean. You were probably exhausted from *turning it out* but we (the girlies who were waiting at the stage door) appreciated you and Katya for coming out to say hello. It meant a lot.
Honestly one of my favorite things about this channel is that Trixie publishes on Monday! I hate Mondays, and this makes me hate them just a little less
- I love when you do a full face of one brand - you teased Clinique in a white lab coat and I’ve not forgotten, ma’am. - more guest appearances! Your GRWM/KiKis are always so great. - show us your fave TikToks
Thank you for the vulnerability and the lack of condescension, as a young queer from the Midwest, these videos remind me I can be successful, so again thank you Trixie 💖
I honestly LOVE that frugality is so part of Trixie's life despite her wealth because that means she also so often uses makeup that is not top dollar; I've bought so many makeup products she's recommended both BECAUSE they are inexpensive AND because despite their low price they're still high enough of a quality to last the extreme wear-and-tear of drag. So I immediately trust whatever she recommends for both quality and price tag.
Honestly the way you discuss money in general but specifically here is so poised and delicate and the perfect amount of honest. Thanks for your candor and endless glamour!
Honestly going through your earring collection would be iconic! You have the best accessories! I also would love to see you go through and describe to date your favorite products you have made from your collections! Favorite gloss, Lipstick, highlighter etc.! Much Love!
her talking about money made me feel things, this is exactly what i creave now that im 25. i make decent money but i want to invest and create a well enough net to the point i can help out my loved ones. seeing somebody come from a poor background such as myself is so inspiring, i love you trixie
It's so weird to me that Trixie still talks about the whole "if this doesn't work out in the future" thing. She's such an amazing, honest, kind and hard working person in my eyes, so of course she'll accomplish whatever she sets out to do.
I do appreciate the “do I call you Trixie out of drag” because like… in anything by drag and maybe music I feel like calling a celebrity by, like, a character or persona is rude?
I really appreciate her take on the wealth question. I think it's very important that people can recognize their priviledge ( worked for or otherwise ), and also at the same time be grounded in reality and not claiming to be "jUsT LiKe EvErYoNe eLsE!" I ofc get not wanting to talk about it tho. The wealth gap in this country is astronomical, and I'm sure that just opens the door to people expressing extreme bitterness ( even towards those undeserving )
Talking about taking care of your mom and sister made me cry. I respect and look up to you so much in the drag community. You always should get respect when out in public as well. 🫶 From one late 80s baby to another, keep doing your thing ❤
I applaud that you understand that we don't just suffer the troubles of our personal (i.e., individual) circumstances, but also, on a societal level, the injustices inflicted on our "groups". It shows you have a sociological imagination, as C. Wright Mills would put it.
i think id be SO FUN for you to do some sort of beauty school test or just try to do basic stuff you’ve learned with professionals to grade you to see what you remember since you were so close to graduating (it could even become a series!)
I would love a video of Trixie sorting organising her barbie storage, talking about which barbies get which shelf, who gets to stand at the front, who gets put in storage cause they are too precious, who gets put in storage because they are sentimental but maybe not pretty. Or if she was ever going to get rid of doll a Video like the make up de cluttering. Potentially even just a showcase of all her non fashion doll toys if she has them!
I think Trixie Mattel should host a masterclass on charisma/ how the average person could build charisma. You are so charismatic and have such a down-to-earth but also endearing way of speaking, I wish I could develop skills like that. I'm sure this skill is partially just natural and intrinsic to who you are, but I would love to hear more about how you've built your demeanour and been able to so successfully brand and represent yourself. I think this talent is one of the reasons why you are so popular!
I really liked hearing how trixie talked about money and how she views her wealth. I appreciated that she was honest about it and still sounded so humble at the same time.
I wish Trixie would put out an advent calendar for her makeup. And when I say an advent calendar I don't mean like that crap that elf Sephora and Macy's. I mean an advent calendar like P. Louise has put out for the past couple of years.

And no Brittany Broski 😬
@@Mary-yv4jv
I think she forgot to mention KimChi and Brittany- because they are triplet spirits that just body swap and even sometimes they forget they Freaky Friday’d it up.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
And you know what? I see it @@palominox64

I really appreciate you when you speak about your heritage and inter generational disparity. I am also Indigenous, and I used to think I wasn’t as affected by stuff cause I’m white passing. Then I too realized that society by design was holding me and my family back, and I felt weird about it cause the system is designed to invalidate us and erase us. I love seeing your success! You are the sum of many parts and I hope to see you embrace all the parts of you.
As if I couldn't love Trixie anymore, I love how the question about being rich was answered. Especially the part about her mom needing a knee replacement and her sister's car. 😭
I LITERALLY CRIED
trixie, the way you spoke about money should be an example for soo many people. so thoughtful, compassionate, and considerate
so true! I love how humble she was about her future and investing for her future, though I wish her tons of success
A thousand percent this. She was soooo spot on about criticism, her approach with humor, that it’s all borrowed time, supporting family…
She put real self-reflection, honesty we didn’t earn from her, and thought into that. 💖
Agree. It wasn't cocky or braggadocios. It was realistic and respectful and speaks to her character 🫶
The earrings are perfection. I love this monochromatic moment. Honestly just love listening to Trixie talk.
I love how she says "I'm not gonna say who, but her out-of-drag name is Fred" when we all saw her and Liv Lux discuss this on the Pit Stop. We love a diplomatic queen. Edit: it was with Jan about Lux, Lux was not there. My bad!
who is she referring to??
@@nicnic5993 I think it's Olivia Lux lol
My exact thoughts, lol.
I'm like, WE ALL KNOW.
I thought it was Jan? I could be wrong
@@jasonmvelezthere's an episode of the Pit Stop with Jan where she says it's Olivia's boy name. And Jan says her name is Charles.
Shut up Katya !!
Beleive it or not everyone struggles... the problem is there are so few humble enough to "attribute" it to our own choices. Nothing ancestral about it honestly.
@@MrSterlinggthat’s just not what multiple studies show. I think the individualism aspect can almost come off racist sometimes.
AHHHH THOSE EARRINGS, “that’s not true Ellen” and “you were invited” ONFG SLAY 😂
Ugh hearing her talk about her life, and money - a Trixie autobiography would be so amazing. She is so inspirational
I'd read it
i'd read it every day for the rest of my life (I'm a slow reader, it may take a few years to finish lmao)
I would LOVE to read her autobiography. Also, just imagine the audiobook version with her voice over.
Exactly and that one person that said she was mean is clearly dumb and a whiny person
She was the sweetest at Boise pride
I think Trixie is very comfortable in her skin these days. Same true for Brian. Comfy with who they both are, not needing to put on any pretenses. Success couldn't happen to a more deserving artist. Or a harder working one. I worry about her overextending herself physically/mentally but she actually seems to be thriving. So I should myob. I respect her on so many levels. 💖
I love how amazing the pink on pink looks with the outfit and the background without actually blending together
The pink EYEBROWS, eyes, lips, outfit, hair, backdrop, TRIXIE I AM OBSESSED THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE LOOKS EVER 💖
this really solidified how wholesome and relatable trixie is
4:55 'What is Trixie Mattel famous for? I think it's like something that would be written on your tombstone'
Trixie's tombstone inscription when she dies: 'The Pink One So Terrify...'
Insert bird laugh here......😅
This.
I hope the random person who commented "the pink one so terrify" realizes what a genius they are because no other human could describe Trixie so well in 5 words. We adore our succinct icon 💗
:table slap: THANK YOU!!!
I love this for you
You did your job caring for him when he struggled to walk ❤ it is the circle of life for adults to care for their parents as they age
❤❤❤
it just shows how amazing of a parent you are to them that they’re this amazing to you in return! you raised them really well!! happy for you❤️
@@unidentifieduser oh gosh, you are so sweet! Thank you!❤️
honestly hearing trixie list all her business ventures is so crazy!! like i knew she's doing all these things but still amazed hearing it all together (drag race ambassador, youtuber, TV star, musician, makeup business owner, motel owner, bar owner, DJ, author). i love that she's been so successful post drag race. she does it all❤
19:50 the way shangela popped on screen for a split second as tracy said "because I rob" 😭
It’s so nice to see trixie claim her indigenous roots. As somebody with indigenous ancestry it’s nice to see !
This might be my favorite look you've ever done. The wig, the marabou dress, the gloves, so GORGEOUS!
12:00 omg YES its so difficult talking about money when you've lived both lives. I refer to it as living a separate universe life
I am half Navajo, grew up on the rez and now I live in a 4 bedroom comfortably, same mentality with the gifts and with splurging.
also your editor goes hard, i love all these additional quips
The thing I also love about Jaymes, and Trixie for that matter, is the knowledge they have about culture and history. I love when Jaymes tells stories, I always learn something
YES not enough people recognise Jaymes as a gay historian!
My take of why Trixie is so famous and relatable is a mix between a make up signature, a self depreciating humor, a sense of self awarness, a crazy work ethic and the ability to make us feel that nothing is too serious
Strong consistent and iconic brand coupled with a genuine persona. Barbie is her drag mother
We love a well-off but also financially self-aware and frugal queen! I wish more people were like that.
Not Nick putting a pic of Shangela when Trixie says she robs 😭🤣💀
Definitely 💀💀💀🤣🤣🤣
I have been falling down a major Trixie Mattel rabbit hole, but learning you're a Virgo just solidified my love! Trixie is amazing
“we funhouse mirror people and things around us” brilliant phrasing there I LOVE
Trixie saying she can't imagine sitting in front of a camera talking to a 25yo and my mind immediately going to her and Brittany's videos 😅
A regular schedule is ideal!
I'm freaking dying over how you talk about money. You have so much soul and you've been through it, I love you.
Much Love!
I love how transparent you are and that you are not ashamed of what you've accomplished but you're also super grounded about all of it too. ❤️
The way she answered about the money stuff is so genuine and I think a lot of people can relate to it. A true queen and an inspiration! 💗👏🏻
Tricia, the pink on you is gorgeous. I am impressed that you have the theme down, even to the eyebrows.
her talking about money made me feel things, this is exactly what i creave now that im 25.
i make decent money but i want to invest and create a well enough net to the point i can help out my loved ones.
seeing somebody come from a poor background such as myself is so inspiring, i love you trixie
It's so weird to me that Trixie still talks about the whole "if this doesn't work out in the future" thing. She's such an amazing, honest, kind and hard working person in my eyes, so of course she'll accomplish whatever she sets out to do.
I always loved Trixie’s original smile. Veneers are nice but I thought her og teeth were great and gave her character.
Trixie looks absolutely GORGEOUS in this all pink look
Talking about taking care of your mom and sister made me cry. I respect and look up to you so much in the drag community. You always should get respect when out in public as well. 🫶 From one late 80s baby to another, keep doing your thing ❤
Gorgeous!!!!!!❤ ❤ ❤
I can’t believe I got her in a human hair wig 🤭
I applaud that you understand that we don't just suffer the troubles of our personal (i.e., individual) circumstances, but also, on a societal level, the injustices inflicted on our "groups". It shows you have a sociological imagination, as C. Wright Mills would put it.
the swedish airport gay guy story being told AGAIN is so funny 😭
The pink one so DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!!! 🩷😍
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; we need a video of you ranking Trixie tattoos. I volunteer as tribute
the dakota johnson earrings are everythingggg
Absolutely love the honesty here. She's a keeper.
This is the most real and honest girl in the world and looks celestial. LOVE AND RESPECT.
i think id be SO FUN for you to do some sort of beauty school test or just try to do basic stuff you’ve learned with professionals to grade you to see what you remember since you were so close to graduating (it could even become a series!)
Trixie has earned and deserves every dime!! She brings so much joy to people's lives!
Mother this is #15 trending on TH-cam, how they haven't asked you to do this kind of interview is beyond me!
The way the video ends about Katya's makeup is hilarious. They should watch when Pearl did Katya's makeup and Katya hated it.
As a French I LOVED to hear you speak French and that you know about our expressions.
I love the new mash between Trixie's original look and second era, ready for the third version!!!!
I loved the way you talked about money. It was so refreshing to hear how grateful you are.
I appreciate this honesty. So refreshing.
I would love a video of Trixie sorting organising her barbie storage, talking about which barbies get which shelf, who gets to stand at the front, who gets put in storage cause they are too precious, who gets put in storage because they are sentimental but maybe not pretty. Or if she was ever going to get rid of doll a
Video like the make up de cluttering. Potentially even just a showcase of all her non fashion doll toys if she has them!
What a genuinely great human being
I think Trixie Mattel should host a masterclass on charisma/ how the average person could build charisma.
More experimenting looks in makeup! LOVED the Dr Manhattan video and would love to see you test your makeup skills outside of the trixie makeup.
2:00 waiting for you to say who made the earings 🥲
I really liked hearing how trixie talked about money and how she views her wealth. I appreciated that she was honest about it and still sounded so humble at the same time.
I wish Trixie would put out an advent calendar for her makeup. And when I say an advent calendar I don't mean like that crap that elf Sephora and Macy's. I mean an advent calendar like P. Louise has put out for the past couple of years.
that line about being from wisconsin at @10:22 sounds deeply indigenous to me, like i am from the land and of the land
