  • Fitting a "new" radio, speakers and power antenna in my 1983 Lotus Esprit S3.

    The speakers are aftermarket by the look of them. when fitted at the factory they have speaker boxes pushing into the space by the tanks through the bulkhead - also holes are more round when factory fit!

      Thanks. Certainly done in period but maybe not factory fit as you say.

    The real music comes from behind without speakers....luckily you didn't use a new radio.

      It does indeed - especially with a newly rebuilt engine and a new stainless exhaust system.

      Good question. Probably but I’ve yet to try it. Likely needs a head cleaning tape run through it.
