Cool, didn't know the details of how he became a student. I did know that after Bruce had finished rocking the wooden dummy around and shaking the house, Jerry went and gave it a push and couldn't budge it, then literally had to lean into it with his shoulder and whole body to tip it even slightly.
@@EricCarrJeetKunedoYeah, that power apparently wasn't something he had when he first arrived in Seattle. He was pissed he couldn't knock out Gary Elms in that high school boxing tournament in Hong Kong, and his Wing Chun approach was to knock people down with repeated, cumulative hits rather than a few or sometimes one solid shot. I think the fact that practically everyone he met and trained with in the US was bigger and heavier than him was an ongoing incentive to up his power game.
Fantastic story, thanks for posting this.
Thank you for sharing this story.
It's beautiful.
Thank you. Stay tuned for more!

After that moment, Jerry said he was amazed at how someone Bruce's size could make so much power.

Another great episode. Thanks for sharing the Bruce Lee information! Dragon history right there! Keep up the good work!
Thank you, Charles! I'm on a mission
@@EricCarrJeetKunedo I love it! Keep it going!
Jerry P is probably as far as Jerry got. While Dan Lee had already finished his name. 😁🐉
