My Bosendorfer 200 has a small crack near the dampers. It was fine when the piano was in the UK but when I brought it to Portugal a few years ago this developed. Should this be repaired immediately or can I wait? So hard to find good technicians here. So hot and humid too.
Yes a cracked sound board can be fixed using a thin shim I have done many sound board repairs during my 45 years as a Piano tuner technician
