Hi, may I ask you a question? I'm 39 years old, I checked my English level online, the result I getting was intermediate level, then I bought a book suggested for B2 level from Good Reads which is "A Wrinkle in Time". When I read the first page, there are 5 words I do not know and the second page still more words I'm not familiar with. I wondering, should I just read something easier. I knew I shouldn't check word by word and just read. Than youu
Keep reading! It's good to challenge yourself. And if you feel tired, rest a bit with sth easier, then come back!

The term 'cat' also was coming into use by the flapper set as a slang word for person, or cool person. Thus, 'the cat's pajamas' became a way to say that someone or something is cool, great, special, the best.

If I understand thouse videos very well is because My level could be B1 or B2 ? I can speak and i enjoy watching these videos but i cannot improve My listening skills just with subtitle or maybe I understand a 20% without subtitle so por that reazon I think My level is basic I would like to now that if My level is basic or could be B1 or B2

That's a possibility, yes!
It's not a big deal to rely on subtitles - especially in lower levels - it will help you understand and learn tons of new vocabulary. And as you get exposed to and practice these words and build your vocabulary box, you'll be automatically moving and relying less and less on subtitles. A good practice, for example, is to watch a scene, listen and follow it with subtitles, and then remove it and listen to it again!
