We had a pretty W teacher the whole school loved. He would get a TV up and then play an anime in the room (he let anyone join in as long as they were quiet) chooses, and he didn't even give out any questions! He also gave snacks, and he would play 10 episodes. The goal was to finish ONE season for a reward of watching 25 episodes AND let everyone have some pizza. I loved that guy frfr

Thats a really nice thing of you to do but you should probably subtly not so subtly let them know that so they don’t worry about it so much, I swear it’s near impossible to actually get the answers on those worksheets since if you miss something you can’t go back, and then you get so stressed it just screws up the whole experience. If you hint to them that it doesn’t actually matter instead of making it seem like a really big deal like a lot of teachers do it would go a long way to calming everyone down
the greatest feeling is when it’s a movie you already seen before so you answer all the questions right as you get the paper and then just enjoy the movie
Mine made it easy because that movie day was basically a break for them to do other work, like grade more papers or plan the next weeks work out. They just made it an easy 100% for us due to that 😂. Otherwise they put on educational videos and just let us watch them 🤣. Good ole days were nice.

He would get a TV up and then play an anime in the room (he let anyone join in as long as they were quiet) chooses, and he didn't even give out any questions! He also gave snacks, and he would play 10 episodes. The goal was to finish ONE season for a reward of watching 25 episodes AND let everyone have some pizza. I loved that guy frfr

The worksheet is how we teachers get to justify a fun day for yall 😭 my middle schoolers are going to watch polar express before winter break and they have a “worksheet” that I’m definitely taking for a “grade”
It ruins the whole experience so we're stressing about getting the answer instead of actually enjoying and taking in the movie man
As the son and brother of two teachers, you could easily just let them watch the movie without more stress before the holidays. They'll be getting enough stress in life after middle and high school.

Thats a really nice thing of you to do but you should probably subtly not so subtly let them know that so they don’t worry about it so much, I swear it’s near impossible to actually get the answers on those worksheets since if you miss something you can’t go back, and then you get so stressed it just screws up the whole experience. If you hint to them that it doesn’t actually matter instead of making it seem like a really big deal like a lot of teachers do it would go a long way to calming everyone down

I remember those days. The second we saw the TV, we were so HAPPY!!! But they are lucky. The teacher turned the light out right away. Our teachers were afraid that we would "fall asleep" if we had the lights out.
One thing I don't remember is how we got thru a 2 hour movie in 1 hour. Or even a 1.5 hour movie in 1 hour. There were sometimes that we could even lay on the floor while watching movies.
