I just finished arranging the Crown of Towers theme for a string trio! It grabbed my ear immediately when I first entered the area, I think it’s one of the strongest, most complete-feeling tracks in the game.

I love crown of towers theme so much! I love how it keeps the same motif/pace throughout the song but switches up midway through from guitar to piano it’s so beautiful 😁! Love this video you should definitely have more subs man hope this blows up :))!

thank you so much for this video, i am very interested in a video on the themes of the second game :) i am also glad someone else thought the music in the first game was good but sometimes a bit repetitive, but the second game solved this flawlessly and is definitly my favourite music in any video game ever. i have huge respect for carlos viola and every other artist that worked on the soundtrack of blasphemous, i found myself running around in the areas simply enjoying the music a lot

Might be an outlier here but I enjoyed B1's soundtrack alot more than B2. I guess it was because B1's soundtrack was simpler and alot darker which drew me into it, while B2's soundtrack while also being amazing, felt more lighthearted and too complex for me. Great video on both games' music 👍 The reason I played these games was solely for the music, and stayed for the awesome art and gameplay.

The thumbnail makes it look like Radamés is playing air guitar.

Just finished playing through Blasphemous 2 twice in a row, and while I agree that its music is more varied than the first game, it didn’t quite grab me as much. The original’s music gave more of a feel of desolation, hopelessness, and despair (despite, as you said, some areas sounding “samey”), while B2’s music is almost too upbeat for the game’s tone.
Not saying I didn’t enjoy it, though. Ended up having to turn up the music in sound settings because it’s too quiet to appreciate it on default settings. Crown of Towers is definitely one of the standout tracks.

Bro you need a few more zeros after your view and sub count! The structure of your video and the examples are perfect, and you have a great voice.
