Thanks Chris! This solved my problems! When I look at my gerber viewer to look at the drill files, things look a little screwed up... but otherwise, all problems solved!
    Great tutorial!

Thank you very much for this! I have a question ... I have added text to the bRestrict layer, using the vector font, so I can have text etched in my bottom layer copper. Following your tutorial, I should select the bRestrict layer when creating the *.sol file, right? When I do this and run the CAM processor, the text is missing from the *.sol file and the copper is just solid. What am I missing?

Hi Chris. Thanks for the video. You didn't mention a "Milling" Gerber
file. My power connector has 3 rectangular slot holes in the board that
show up in Eagle's layer 46 "Milling". I'm assuming I need a Gerber
file for this. Can you help me please?

Mirror output. This option normally causes negative coordinates, therefore it should be used only if "pos. Coord." is selected, too. what dose mean

Hello, thank you for posting your work.
    I have a question.
well, I do not have a valid copy of the eagle, but unfortunately I'm using an alternative copy, it turns out that my copy does not generate the Gebers, aao least not know how to make it generate. I followed step by step his teaching, and only able to generate geber in the demo program, unfortunately this program limits the maximum size of the pcb in 10x10cm. the pcb I need to build has a far greater size 40x15 cm.
well my question, how do I generate geber for this my pcb?
Can you help me with this job?
    Thank you
My name is Evanildo and I am Brazilian, live in the city of Sao Paulo.
I'm sorry I do not speak English'm using an electronic translator.

You don't say why anything is given those extensions. You just say, lets it use these random layers and give it this extension for no reason.

    • @buda_glez
      @buda_glez 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      He does say:
*.cmp - Components (from the tradition of the component placement at the top layer)
      *.sol -Solder layer (Bottom)
      *.plc Component Silk (place)
      *.pls Solder Silk (bplace)
      *.stc Stop components
      *.sts Stop Solder
      *.ncd NC Drill file
