Fun fact: It didn't matter that your jockey chicken despawned, chickens spawned from a zombie jockey can't lay eggs! The reason is that the baby zombies could pick up the eggs and never despawn!
you can still breed them normally with seeds if you get two of them.
And to stop them despawning put them in boats

@@KpC169 I agree that youtubers have variety of audience but tbh, I don't think more people will be enjoying his hardcore series than the number of people who will be enjoying his skyblock or any other random challenges, his hardcore series actually became boring and although he brought some energy back with restarting from zero on the same world, it still is something repetitive that most of us see most of the youtubers doing, it's just basic minecraft at the end with him doing some sort of task in each episode. I personally think he should leave his world for some time, and start doing challenges, most probably manhunt series or minecraft but series, since it's fun for the people and it has a lot of audience, as well as it's also fun for the content creator himself since every new video, there are new turns, unexpected things happen, and you don't progress as you continue in episodes, you start from the beginning, with only goal to defeat the dragon.

Can’t believe I started watching over winter break of 2019 and heavily during quarantine of 2020 and still watch now . One of the most consistent creators I’ve watched !
14:15 here is a way to get emeralds in this map - use witches' weakness to cure zombie villagers to trade and get emeralds
I knew there was a way to get them, thought it was by the outer island update, if you think sky block is impossible it at least gives a chance to do it.
Also cure 2, breed them, make trading stations and you're good

watching Scicraft play Skyblock in 1.14 (albeit with a few modifications to the wandering trader to get certain items) is pretty cool for seeing the extent of what you can do in Skyblock

This brings back memories, I was never good at regular survival on my phone, so I'd always play skyblock, I found (and still find) it really peaceful. Thank you for the nostalgia, WadZee.
Im so happy to see this video. Ive been playing skyblock on twitch for months and was upset with the lack of content on youtube. without any tutorials, I managed to get villagers on my island (died twice doing so) and used the emeralds to get new trees from the wandering trader. I learned how to obtain more dirt, made a magma farm of my own design and made a basalt generator. Cant wait to see more of this!

I stopped watching this guy ages ago but I looked back at his videos and his one blocks skyblock is actually the series that got me subbed to him in the first place. It was interesting and I liked his editing style. I remember watching him go from the thousands to a million in like a month.

Wadzee, if you make a gold farm in the nether, since it's 1.18 and you have piglins, you can actually trade with them to get all their loot, that means you can farm a lot of iron, and if if you find a fortress spawn area and place nether bricks, you can actually get blazes and get enough items to cure villagers
Also, bartering with piglins gets you gravel, which can be turned into dirt! If you craft gravel and dirt into coarse dirt, you can use a hoe on the coarse dirt into regular dirt.

Ah yes. I remember the days of the straight line series. I had just moved house and scrolling through my recommended page. I had found this small channel called WadZee with a video only a few hours old. I enjoyed watching him walk in a straight line and moved on. A few days later I got recommended episode 2. After that I decided to go through some of his other videos and ended up watching all of the skyblock series up too that point so this video is a huge throughback to the start of a new part of my life. I’m glad to see your channel grow past 10 then 100 thousand and then up to a million subscribers and I hope to see the day you hit 10 million subs. I just loved the memories that came back to me at 0:01. Thank you wadzee for making amazing content over the years and thank you random person who read this comment that I spent about half the video typing. I

Yes! Classic WadZee! Your editing and vibe is what sells. You could make a 20 minute strip mining video entertaining. Getting yourself into novel situations just makes it all that much more entertaining. The more fun you have, the more fun we have.

Weeeeeelllllll... yes actually.
The key is the witch, they sometimes yeet weakness potions... which let you cure things.
Gold from smelted armor/weapons, a drowned farm, or z-piglin drops unlocks gold apples.
Naturally spawned z-villagers can be cired for a breeding pair, and fishing can get you nametags iirc to help with despawning problems.
That gold can ALSO be traded to regular piglins for moar dirt (gravel ->craft ->coarse dirt -> till it w/hoe -> regular dirt).
1.14 and 1.16 really redefined the limits of vanilla skyblock.

I was more referring to the zombies/witches so they didn't despawn when you walk away from them.
But yes, you can also name villagers, if you can get an anvil.... that's a lot of iron for skyblock. Easiest method now is probably some kind of piglin spawner + a gold farm so you can get iron nuggets from them by the dozen.
@@willb5278 That's a really expensive ways to prevent despawning. Just put them on a boat.
