HAWK DLX EXHAUST BAFFLE REMOVED

Today I removed the baffle from the exhaust on my Hawk DLX. SOUNDS WAY BETTER. IF YOU DONT LIKE IT I WILL FART YOU. OOPS I MEAN FIGHT YOU.

I bought mine without a baffle. Sounds like crap. It's poppy and obnoxiously loud.

Can someone please help me? I have a 2021 Hawk DLX 250 and the muffler and secondary pipe are one piece. The exhast header pipe has an oxygen sensor. I cant just remove the muffler like I see you doing here and I cant reach the catalytic material because the muffler is welded to the exhaust pipe. They must have made a revision. Any suggestions?

The DLX is fuel injected, the bike in this video is the carb version, You will most likely have to get a whole new exhaust unless you're quite handy.
Google "China riders forum" there's a community of people on there that run hawks, should be able to help you out more. I have the carbed version so Idk for sure.

Don’t do it … the exhaust will mess the tune up and require remapping due to it being computerized fuel injection, wich is out of the spectrum for most people.

You can cut them out, I've cut them out on my Honda's before. I ordered a Hawk a couple days ago and I plan on removing it. On my Honda the horse power increase was noticeable. I cut them out with a hole saw and a drill.

Seems a little bit louder but it has a deeper nicer sound now

Does the baffle just come out or it has to be destroyed to get it out? Is it louder now or quieter?

It comes out easily and it gets a little bit louder.
