Dear Sir when I paste your given code in your website in my Winbox new terminal, it gives me this error "expected end of command (line 1 column 33)" . Could you please let me know what is wrong ? Moreover when I paste it in Layer 7 protocol from GUI its not working either (Torrent is working and torrent file is getting downloaded).
@TKSJa I'm not sure why but with this layer7 method, my queue on p2p-dw-pk would not show any traffic; however, the traffic could be tracked with the mangle. i.e. mangle works, queue empty Any idea on what may be wrong? p.s. I'm on ROSv6.41
Sorry for the confusion, the purpose of this video show user how to fix their bittorent rule. Anything else is stuff that I was testing. I will be doing an updated mangle & queue video soon.
TKSJa thanks ! I forgot It ! I have to re-study networking xD For gaming I did another mangle rules : ps4 dw pkt and ps4 up pkt; then i set in queue trees priority 1 to those packets and 2 to http pkt and so on.. is a correct idea ? Initially i thought to activate fasttrack for only this connection but I didn't know how can I did this
TKSJa yes but I have followed your tutorial to disable the fasttrack and now i don't know how Can activate fasttrack for only one interface or for only some selected packed :D
I always thumbs up because your videos are very good. My issue here is why have you defined to mark connection, for example for upload as p2p-up-conn ? If we apply this Advanced Layer7 protocol rule directly to the mark-packet action will not work ? For example following the logic of th-cam.com/video/3zJrNOUDNrc/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=TKSJa one would go about like this for the p2p upload: General Chain: forward Packet Mark: client-up-pk Advanced Layer7 Protocol e.g. Bittorrent Action Action: mark packet New Packet Mark p2p-up-pk Does this make sense or would be better to involve the Mark connection and apply the rule over there ?
Your tutorials are so good, they are even better than the paid ones on udemy. Thank You
You're welcome
Awesome! Blocks immediately I launch the torrent software, before it even starts to download. Your videos are good. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
You are welcome.
i did the extra work to create a new bit torrent filter list. After I used YOUR code thanks that was awsome.
You are welcome
thnks sir..from PH..
Your a Life Saver..... Bless you

Delete the queues and recreate
ths for this tuto boss ...
in the tuto 13 you create only tcp conn mark but in this video I see udp conn mark. I'm confused

TKSJa big tks
where is script that you use to block torrents in the first place? i don't see it on your site

thank you
You are welcome
thank you very much for your all videos but i want to know how match the any streaming traffic with regexp....thank you for answering
me
I will do a video on that soon.
I use this regex but the p2p traffic goes in part into p2p-dw-pkt but the most goes into other-dw-pkt
+Gabriele Rugani That is how p2p works, it uses p2p protocol to establish the connection and then use random tcp/udp ports to transmit data.

Good job, you can thy fasttrack that traffic and see if if improves your response time.

how to limit download and upload speed
Layer 7 is not a good idea, My router is brick and restart :(, because my router filter many many traffic connection -> my router is restart
Do you have a better method?
It doesnt seem to be working for utorrent

Layer7 Protocol
